They draw fouls and clog the paint. Unless Texas can pick it up from outside his could be a tough matchup for UT. Aggies are one of the hottest teams since Christmas Break. Definitely not a 7 seed and a tough matchup to see so early for a 2 seed. Should be a great game, rivalry included.

Honestly I think it’s a tough matchup for Iowa State. A&M’s defensive scheme encourages 3pt shots and clogs the paint. Not great for teams that struggle from outside.

@@arielbanwag8207 Duke has less Q1 wins than UK, played a considerably easier schedule than UK, and the refs go above and beyond in making sure Duke gets every single break and every single 50/50 call. And no, before you bother to waste your time typing it, UK gets no such whistle and hasn't since the John Higgins debacle in 2017, and never got as good a whistle as Duke did to start with. Heck, at best UK only gets a neutral court whistle at home.

Memphis is not a bad team. They are undisciplined and lose games from time to time but they have big time Cinderella potential. Kendric Davis is a good basketball player

@@nowayjose1313 Purdue beat duke when Duke had 2 players not 100% and Jeremy roach also went down early in that game and he wasn’t 100% if you think this Duke team is the same one in November you are stupidly mistaken. The core of this Houston team had made 2 long tournament runs the last 2 years so I get there conference isn’t very good but they have experience against tournament teams in the end. Alabama is easily the most versatile team in the field (duke being a close second) by that I mean no matter how a team forces them to play they can adapt and beat them in multiple different ways. Watch college basketball more buddy.

Duke is 17-1 when they are fully healthy and playing their best basketball right now, they weren't healthy when they played purdue. Purdue is also on a downward spiral and got lucky to win the big 10, almost threw away a 16 pt lead in 6 minutes
