One of my fovorite songs of all time!!! Been playing guitar since I was 12yo. At 53, after a stint in the USMC just shy of 8 years being around the world a mutitude of times, this song had always been gold.

Legendary but so unfairly underrated as a singer,writer and vocalist.

One of the best singers of all time , no doubt .whatever band he joined he left a big mark in it .

What a singer!. I simply love him!!!.

How I wish we never get old...... Like legend SPerry of Journey, Always considered JLT a soothing emotional voice.

What an incredibly talented guy Joe is! I LOVE this song, always have, and it has a ton of memory and meaning to me. Sounds amazing in this version and he's still kickin' ass in 2015 in this recording at 64 years old! How many "stars" can pull this off? Not many as well as he does!

Tuve el agrado de verlo en mi País ( Uruguay ) al gran Joe junto a un excelente guitarrista como es el señor Walter Giardino, líder de Rata Blanca ( Banda Argentina ) y me encanto, la edad y el uso continuo durante muchos años de sus cuerdas vocales lo han depositado en un momento actual 2017 con dificultades en las notas altas a las que el estilo " Hard Rock " nos tiene acostumbrados, esta patología es común a esa edad, siempre lo admire de su época en Rainbow, sentí placer al oír su excelente voz! Larga vida al rock and roll que aquí por Sudamérica se las trae, saludos desde Uruguay!

They made a great team, we know Blackmore is an incredible talented musician, so it's s not a surprise but Dougie impressed me by then in 1995, a great singer and frontman. There was a great musical chemistry there, I love it.

Personally I feel Joe can still cut it - no problem. Ritchie should really have used Joe’s services for the recent Rainbow gigs. Berkely 2 Lancefield St Glasgow rehearsal studios apparently. Impressed with the musicians also.
