I’m a Fairmont State Alumnus and love all the ties Joe made here in West Virginia. Watched him help lead WVU to our best season outcome in my lifetime. It is heart-wrenching to hear how conflicted he was after the Celtics offer though. He was always super nice if you ran into him on campus, and didn’t mind when I asked for an autograph. Couldn’t be happier for him that a second opportunity with Boston came around. He has a life long fan in me.

As someone who has watched every single game since the start of last season there is a noticeable difference in the strength of the Celtics offense and defense. I would take last years team with udoka over joe and this years team. Even though this years team is better with the additions that was made off season and trade deadline. I’m anxious and not as confident about joe in the playoffs as I would have been very comfortable with udoka throughout. I like him as a person but him as a coach is questionable at times. And this game is a business you can’t keep someone around just cause you like them when you know you could be way better off with someone else. If Celtics had udoka this season they would have less than 10 losses to this point and would undoubtedly be the favorite to win the championship. They would have a ridiculous record breaking offense and the best defense in the league.
