I enjoy the RU-vid interviews you do about Benjamin Orr. I am going to order your book. I see just a touch of sadness about him which makes me love him more ❤️

Ray CARR! How fitting! I'm going to buy this book as soon as I can. I am a new fan of Benjamin Orr and think he was so special and talented. More people my age should know about him.

Exactly three years ago I discovered this gorgeous Benjamin. Unbelievable what humble person and great musician he was. Rest in peace lovely Benjamin. You will never be forgotten.

Wow thanks for the show and the author is a great source on Ben. I got it in August of this year 2019 b/c I never knew that there was a book on Ben Orr and the Cars. I first bought their album in 1978 when it came out, and for me, I loved the punk side of the music. I loved Ben's voice and have all the albums. Thanks for the memories guys! Rock on...

What a lovely voice of young Benjamin at the beginning of the interview. He was incredible in every sense. Thank you so much for this very interesting interview. The biography is a real masterpiece.

Wow just stumbled on to this interview. It's always good to hear Joe talk about the book. I've read the book twice, I wish it had been 3 times longer with more photographs. I felt like I really could feel what it was like to be at The Rat seeing these guys. And the feel of the club scene in Cleveland and Boston was great. I like a lot of other people still wish we knew more about Ben the real person. His feelings , thoughts, more from Kris and Diane. So much seems to still be a mystery that leaves us wanting more!!

Ben was not from this world He did not die He just had to go back 😢😢😢

He sounds like a well centered man who had a good head on his shoulders, and a strong set of core values that helped him navigate all of his success. His parents did a good job.

Wasn’t impressed with the book. It shrouds Ben’s personality and nothing is brought to light. I’d like to see a book written by the members of the cars. I guess the only good this book does is describe the chronology of his life - which can be learned on Wikipedia.
