@@StereoSoundAgent @Supercalafragulistic Expealadocious I know he's not stupid bruddas. My comment is the equivalent of a 'freeze frame'. That one instance of statement/response was amusing
Nah dude is definitely developing weapons we just don't seethose bad boys they probably got some cool shit to deter humans incase martial law but I'd already assume that Elon is a government agent if not he's a pretty bad actor who doesn't know what he's talking just a guy with some cool ideas but think about this if he believes in his rockets so much why doesn't use them to prove that he's actually going to either revolutionize the industry or just kill it all in a whole by his failure of trying stuff out the box but I believe this guy is nothing but hot air if you catch my drift
Man, this guy actually gave flying cars some serious thought. Also that “ha ha ha” laugh is like an AI trying to processes and emit laughter. Just my two cents
@@MultiKhush Any flying car would have to be autonomous as a necessity. No human input what-so-ever. Like Violet Rain said, people are too dumb to drive regular cars.
Tyson: We dont need flying cars, we already have helicopters Everyone: Bullshit Elon: If you want flying cars put wheels on a helicopter Everyone: This guys a genius
technically the idea of a magnet road(aka the hyperloop) has been around for a few years now. Right now they figure if they can actually make it, it should reduce travel times between New York and Los Angeles down to about 1/2 hr, 45 mins, assuming everything goes right. Obviously everything won't go right and they will find out what ends up going wrong very quickly. But that idea is still far away, like 10-20 years away from now, from proceeding.
Sure, elon is full of shit but he truly does had a wide base of knowledge and isn't BSing during the full interview. Most of his BS involves his business plans because he wants to hype share holders up, but like with the plane...he cannot fully reveal his plans. He is a product just like his girlfriend is. They are made to look organic, but they are heavily managed behind the scenes and not in control of even half of what they claim to be.
he took a physics class 🤣🤣🤣 like that makes him qualified to understand 90% of what musk COULD be talking about? lmfao jesus christ kids. you peo people dont understand how smart elon really is and how stupid joe and jamie are compared to him
- Hyperloop: failed - Solar City: Solar at the moment ranks at the bottom of clever alternative power sources - Mars Colony by 2025: sure... - Neuralink by 2027: never gonna happen I have a bunch ideas too. Please finance me and I will build an h2o powered plane
He pretends to be smarter than he is though. Everything he talked about is college physics. And his 'wow I solved traffic, the answer is tunnels'... it's called a subway mate it was invented in 1863!
Tom Olorin I wasn’t defending the genius of Elon really. In 1910 there were roughly 15,000 fully electric vehicles with self contained power sources operating in New York City :-) that’s not to say I have anything against Elon of course, cuz I don’t
Tom Olorin ..he doesn't really pretend to be smarter than he is though. He constantly calls himself retarded and or a normal person. I've never heard he claim to be smart...have you..?
Tom, he's got a point though. That's how I build cities in Cities:Skylines. Surface streets alone inevitably get clogged up, adding tunnels keeps the surface clear of entry/exit ramps and traffic is flowing.
Unless something catastrophic goes down, the growth of mass transportation in inner city travelvwill be the next new thing. More vehicles is not the answer, so some type of variation of underground travel is one of the more likely directions for solving the gridlock of rush hr traffic.
Joe: asks all possible questions about different forms of potential progression of transportation in the future. Elon: helicopters are pretty tight dawg
That could apply to anyone if they thought about it enough. Cut down 50% of traffic with half traveling underground and being able to contril the fumes, exhaust. That's a substantial amount
did you forget the part in flying where you need energy for that cool thing called lift? hence why airplanes and helicopters require far more fuel. F.O.C.U.S.
@@tritone11 Not too stupid at all, just too ignorant due to him not spending a lot of time learning and thinking about engineering physics. It indeed "makes sense" when you've spent the time sorting it out.
Joe: performance edition? Elon: yes Joe: how much do you need? Elon: we are going to put rocket thrusters on it Joe: what?!!! The way Elon says that so casually is fucking hilarious.
Rane xD Pav.G get ready to feel like the 2nd biggest dumbass on the internet. Right after that guy above you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vJQI66MSjf8.html
"The fundamental issue with roads is you have a 2d transport system and a 3d living and workspace environment" The way this guy identifies a problem is just genius.
Karan Raj Mishra is that the problem? Or is it just too many damn people on the road with different driving etiquette. Yeah no shit we are moving to something stationary
Karan Raj Mishra Right, because the most efficient way to solve our transportation system is to bore multiple tunnels through solid rock, hundreds and apparently thousands of feet deep. Meanwhile we live in an elctrical magnetic environment, which we've had the ability to tap into and harness for a very long time.
It would be more "genius" if Elon would acknowledge the existence of bridges as a 3d, or at least 2.5d. But no. Let's dig into the ground, where first responders would have limited access should an accident happen.
I'm glad that Joe just tried to be himself and said whatever came to his mind. Too often people keep quite and don't say stuff because they're afraid of being labeled stupid. This is exactly how the conversation between a normal curious person and a genius would go!
(best tommy laugh @ 6:48) this is one of my favorite comments in the history of youtube... who would have ever thought that there's a way to link tommy wiseau and elon musk :)
That's cuz he's a stupid Stoned Out Junkie. when you put him in a room with somebody of mild intelligence that shows how really stupid he is he's a very unintelligent human being. He made his living off hitting people and Dick and fart jokes let's not give this guy credit as some philosopher
@@kdingo2909 no I love this show I love the guests I listen to it all the time on my way to and from work however that doesn't negate the fact that he's an idiot just cuz somebody stupid doesn't mean I hate them
Joe asks him how he would “fix” airplanes, then says he’s too stupid for this conversation. Lol what kind of answer did you want from and introvert super-genius????
Don't wanna be a dick but he is a marketing person not a dedicated engineer. I'm sure he knows more than most about engineering but he's not the genius and he's definitely not an introvert
@@kevintan5497 Incorrect. His main degree (bachelors) is in physics. And anyone can call themselves an engineer. It's not a regulated term like, "Doctor."
Not really any pilot knows the relationship between lift, trust, gravity and drag. Take any 200 level fluid dynamic and a statics and dynamics class you'll know terms such as mass balance and free body diagram. He talks like a professor with limited communication skills
Joe: “so these tunnels that you’re building right now are they just like test subjects for this ultimate ideal that you have” Musk: “you know their just holes in the ground”
Dan Weeks “full of shit”? Hahaha he literally just explained a 4-force balance for steady level flight, sure you just didnt keep up in physics class? (PS! the only thing not feasible about electric flight right now is energy density in batteries, which is constantly improving) Edit: Gotta admit this comment was kinda rude
AAAAAAAAnd Elon mentioned that the gravitational potential energy which I think he was implying that that energy could be used to recharge the batteries.
Imagine you're a standup and you have to make laugh that table up front where Musk is seated next to Zuckerberg, Bezos, Gates and the ghost of Jobs. Not sure what would be creepier: their stares or their almost lifelike laughs.
Bullshit. Joe knows a lot in a general sense. It’s just the lack details and specifics that can make him seem that way sometimes. Joe is one of the best things that’s happened to humanity.
As a guy who is stuck in traffic daily ( Bay Area SF) I admire someone who is willing to even make a chance to fix our traffic issue. My respects to him!
