Joe please have Anabel Hernandez. She is an expert in Mexican Cartels. She has a new book, El Traidor. Please like so Joe can see. Thank you in advance!
I got about 12 minutes into the Miley Cyrus one and it was just her her her and none of this global stuff he usually talks about and had to turn it off. TBH the shirt Joe was wearing made me angry also 🤣 that's never happened but thankfully I found this one as a replacement. Dude is SUPER interesting and has amazing insight and opinions.

Yeah it is amazing to hear this guy talk , it clearly blows in the face of Trump's painted image of "browns "as being inferior brutes, this guy clearly has a superb intelect.

We still live in the greatest country in the world, but I'm genuinely sorry that you have to see it in this condition. Welcome home, friend.
This guy pretty much brings up everything a left leaning person just doesnt want to hear. Mexico could be the next war. That might be a good thing though. It could unite Mexico and the USA.
@Jesus Lara There is no freedom without order. Freedom is grounded in order, it springs from it. After all, the first Amendment is granted to you by the rule of law. Liberty cannot exist outside of order. Outside of order, liberty has no meaning.

Joe, I’ve lived in Mexico and the US. I went to school in Juarez from 2nd grade through high school and this fella is describing things as accurately as I’ve EVER heard.
I've seen stuff on Instagram that they're handing out care packages to the poor still, then again i lived in Mexico City and it didn't seem so crazy there
@@willfer6986 I live in El Paso (which as you surely know, borders Juarez) and it's BAD here. El Paso was the new epicenter as far as the COVID cases in the US. That was a few days ago, we got around 200 more medical professionals sent here and everyone knows handfuls of people sick in the hospital right now. Nobody can work without getting sick, no shopping, no dine-in over 50% capacity, no school whatsoever, and yet the border to-and-from Juarez is wide open!🤦🏼♀️ Gang activity in Juarez is also running (even more ?) rampant than usual. From my front yard I can see the street, then the border highway, and then the wall running parallel to the highway - and from my kitchen I was able to hear a gunfight just across the fence last night. Dennis Hink Morales was a power hungry dictator who violated term limits of office. He was a corrupt leader who is responsible for the destruction of over 5,000,000 Acres of the Amazon rain forest. He became a terrorist after he was finally ousted by his own supporters. Here is a transcript of some leaked audio of him a day after an interview imploring piece: Morales can be heard urging one of his supporters (and a fugitive drug trafficker) "brother, don't let food into the cities, we are going to do a blockade, a true Siege from now it is going to be fight, fight, fight!'
@@jesseguy5296 not to mention his love of cartels and and providing cocoa, and his calls for domestic terrorism against whoever he disagreed with. As well as his disregard for human rights.
@Dennis Hink you're high as shit if you think he was a good leader in any sense of the word. Him and his government were one of the most corrupt in the world. The Morales administration had always said it was one of the most “transparent” and “incorruptible” governments in history. To keep their word, the legislative passed the anti-corruption law “Marcelo Quiroga Santa Cruz”. In its article 123, the rule legalizes retroactivity in corruption cases, meaning any corruption felony committed by a state official can be taken to trial even before the rule became law of the land. This clause violates several international human-rights treaties the country has signed, and Morales has used it to prosecute opposition leaders instead of applying it to his own government officials -many of them deeply involved in corruption scandals.
I came here to say this very thing and you beat me to it. I'm intrigued (not in a good way) by what's going on down in Mexico because so little valid information makes its way to the United States. Just like Joe was saying, I feel like I have my head pretty well around the situation in, say, Afghanistan, but I'm clueless as to the specifics of the Mexican situation, other than knowing that drug cartels are down there. And I live on the border and visit interior Mexico quite frequently. The information Ed provides in these podcasts is beyond invaluable.
Mexico is a beautiful county full of beautiful people who are in a constant struggle to get by under threat of poverty and violence. Pray for these people.
R S are you fucking stupid? Do you really think people love having a corrupt government? And do you think that the government is the same as the citizens?
Praying won't help. They need to change things for themselves. They've been an independent country for nearly as long as the United States. But despite having tremendous oil wealth all they've managed to do is make their country a violent poverty stricken shyte hole.
@@bernardoblanchetramirez6032 Whom else would you blame for the state of Mexico if not Mexican's?! It's not like aliens came down from outer space to run their country. The corrupt government and violent cartel members are Mexican organizations.
I’ve only watched 45 so far, but here is a few misinformation (or lies maybe) Ed said: The Cartel Jalisco New Generation did not start as Mata Zetas. CJNG started as a different cartel (Milenio) and all of their founding members were members of the now extinct Milenio Cartel, who were allied with the Sinaloa Cartel. Milenio splintered into 2 different groups and New Generation was one of them. Ovidio (El Chapo’s son) was not freed because they held the military’s family members hostage. He was freed because the Sinaloa Cartel said they would kill anyone and everyone (including innocent people) until he was freed. The government wasn’t prepared for that and Ed is trying to save face. About the Chinese involvement being involved with the autodefensas may be somewhat true, but what’s a fact is that the autodefensas were essentially the armed wing of another cartel to get rid of Los Caballeros Templarios in Michoacan, and their main purpose was to take the Templarios out and assume control of the state. The autodefensas are now a cartel called Los Viagras. One of the the former leaders of the autodefensas is actually fighting against El Mencho right now.
@@ainitiate9582 Mencho is fighting all over, the bloodiest is in Guanajuato, with a small cartel, that is going toe to toe with his people, the viagras are just 1 of the groups he's fighting in Michoacan, there is still templarios & Family Michoacan remnants, viagras got their name from hair gel, cuz it spikes it, go figure, comparing Viagra to a hair gel Matazetas is a cjng faction stationed in Veracruz, one of his cells splintered in his main state Guadalajara, & they include some of the young generation of the old Milenio Cartel, they suspect he gave up El Lobo to get the leadership. Sinaloa allied himself with other small cartels to battle him. Northeastern Mexico by Laredo he's trying to get that plaza, allying himself with cells from the Gulf Cartel, but cartel del noreste, exzetas who are fighting the Gulf Carte won't have it ,even do I think C. My grandfather was a reporter up until the 1960s when he got so disgusted with how things had become that he just quit but he used to say the only difference between an investigative journalist and a cop when he started was that the cops were their guns on the outside of their clothing basically saying the journalist were tough you know working class people they weren't considered celebrities or anything of that nature and with that being said if politicians or anybody in power for that matter was trying to hurt the little guy well the journalist was part of that he was one of those little guys himself

He strikes the nail on the head with his understanding of the second ammendment. "I have never seen a criminal with a California compliant rifle." " To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the law abiding that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the guilty and the lawless." - Lysander Spooner
This quote is too perfect in so many ways. Every extreme leftist that thinks banning guns is the answer needs to read this over and over again until it becomes reality for them.
He also fails to mention that 99% of the weapons that the cartel uses are American made and legally sold and smuggled into Mexico. So in other words, your ability as a us citizen to get 50 cal rifles and semi automatic rifles is killing hundreds of thousands of people in Mexico. He completely fails to explain this scenario because he's super biased to conservative agenda. Whether it is in Mexico or here in the US.

Really? I would point out that when applying to become a US citizen you have a reason to not speak liberally against the US agenda. Speaking about Evo Morales as some left wing extremist giving the impression that he was detrimental to the Bolivian people. Look at the poverty levels pre Evo Morales and Post. Please, do a little fact finding to discover who the US backed government is, talk about right wing racist religious extremist. Much as historically the US has backed right wing government strongman by any means it continues in Brazil, Honduras, etc. He brings up Chavez from Venezuela again look at the poverty levels pre Chavez and during his presidency. Mind Chavez was democratically elected multiple times and till this the day the majority of Venezuelans approved of his presidency. He was maligned by the US because he nationalized Venezuelan oil. The same Chavez who donated heating oil free of charge to low income Americans who needed it to keep warm through the winter because our government couldn't care less. Talk about facts don't matter. No sooner than he mentions only one school shooting one happens.
