I love listening and watching Erika’s videos. I started keeping bees about 1 1/2 years ago and I totally love it as well. I love telling people about bees as well.
She says upwards of 20000 varieties of bees polinate our produce. The amount of polinators not spoken of is immense! If you plant or allow native plants to flower within your garden you will see massive benefits to your crop
I was terrified of bees until her videos started showing up on my feed. Now when I see them, I take a deep breath, remember her calm voice, admire them from a distance, and go on with my day. Wasps can kick dirt though, still hate those mfers
Notice that there has never been a controlled study that proves that local honey does not help with allergies. Anecdotal evidence from several people I know says that it does help. People that are interested should buy some local honey and try it out. No money lost at all. Good honey and possible help with allergies!❤
That's because you're probably uneducated. If you studied subjects like physics, evolutionary biology, neuroscience, philosophy, history, and psychology (and weren't surrounded by other religious zealots to influence your thinking) the likelihood of you believing in god would be low. Religion is philosophy for the dumb. From billions of neurons in the brain giving rise to consciousness, to particles behaving in ways that challenge our classical understanding of reality, and celestial monsters like black holes sucking everything in their path into an abyss, the universe is fantastical enough. There's no need to add imaginary sky daddies to the mix.
She literally stopped posting new videos after this came out. At first I thought it was because they don't do this type of bee moving during the winter but still nothing but some repeat clips a year and a half later. I don't know if the company got some backlash for being on Rogan's podcast or they were just satisfied or not satisfied with the additional income or lack there of from views after the podcast and decided to just stick to doing their normal work.

Hornets are one of the most stubborn insects. First day as a Pest Control Tech. First customer, Hornets. I'm jazzed up. I'm out to prove my worth to my company. Get a call from the boss on the way up there, which is out of the ordinary. Even on our ride alongs I never heard the boss call any of the Senior Techs. Anyway, I pull up, the lady peeks out of her shades, looks around in the distance, and opens the door. She asks if I'm okay. Odd question, but she tells me they're everywhere in the back. I investigate. 5 or 6 total. They're aggressive. 3.5 inches or so long, fat boogers. They are zooming past me, but I put good head movement and footwork to go and grab my things. So, I came back with a couple of cans of spray. 5 or 6 turned into 20. So, I grabbed my other equipment. It's now full carnage back there. I dropped around 5. They sting me right in the back of the thigh. I see the lady from the window just in awe. I have 4 gallons of chem, and I'm losing this battle. I couldn't locate the hive. My theory, was it was in the neighboring yard. I called my boss and told him the situation. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of homes. That was the worst I have ever experienced. Guess they thought, "Let's send that rookie that thinks he's hotshit." As long as it's not a swarm and you can locate them. They are fairly simple to get rid of. They will normally keep rebuilding if knocked down a few times, but they learn from their failures. They will move on if you're brave enough to knock the nest down a few times, but you need to do it from a distance.
That’s terrifying, I hate hornets and wasps. Please tell me you don’t kill bees though too, I was just talking to my son about the importance of protecting the bees and never to kill one intentionally.
@@tianna1116 never. Most pest control places won’t deal with bee’s of course each state has its regulations. Either the department of agriculture or the EPA deal with this. They won’t allow anyone who doesn’t specialize in bees to remove or spray bees. Pest control technicians can’t even spray flowers for this very reason. When spraying for pest a good and more seasoned vets think about the ecosystem. Of the pest you kill or spray for, what are the odds a bird eats one of the bugs. Highly likely, how many of those birds may become prey themselves. A partial percentage. This trickles onward. This is why the state regulates these things. Can’t have people out spraying things they’re not suppose to and not using the right amounts.
When he’s accosting her about the cell phones and she’s like ffs as someone who actually works with these bees I have no idea wtf you’re talking about. She deserves an opportunity to be on a pod with people like JR that are pushing 5g conspiracies bc that’s his whole audience.
