It's possible. You can also be asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms to the point of not noticing too much. Prior to the pandemic I hadn't been properly sick for at least 10 years. A slight fever once every couple years with no other symptoms. I saw my nephew a couple months ago, he had the sniffles and that cold knocked me on my ass for 5 days.

yea in a way the would correlate to covid being almost weight neutral and it would be more other complications that come with weight that affect whether it'll really hit you or not. Merck makes Ivermectin. They gave up on their attempt to make a COVID vaccine in January of 2021 after their Phase 1 clinical trials proved to offer less effective immunity than the other vaccines rolling out and instead chose to focus on their new COVID therapeutic treatments coming out. Notice how none of those conditions include a highly communicable respiratory virus? When people refuse to get vaccinated, they not only increase their own risk of contracting covid, they also put society at risk by potentially taking up an emergency bed, or by being much more likely to spread the virus. The more covid spreads, the more chances it has to mutate into a potentially more infectious or deadly strain.

You also need to be pretty fat (bmi over 40) to see a significant increase in covid risk for hospitalization or death. Overweight and non morbidly obese people aren't at much higher risk for death or hospitalization and the risk for morbidly obese people is 2 to 3 times more. Not being vaxxed had a risk factor of 14 times so leave it to joe to play the numbers.
Joe Rogan should learn the medical term "Over Weight" and not "Fat". He himself is overweight for his height. Having muscles over fat does not make you 100% healthy.
Having muscles is NOT the same as visceral fat around organs. So BMI is a faulty measure. The body stops making collagen at 55. Sarcopenia starts to set in. Maintaining muscle mass as you age helps prevent you from falling. Once you start falling...it's over.

you should probably switch from time to time if you need a lot of pain meds. try something like paracetamol or novaminsulfon (see your doctor to know if those are right for you). ibuprofen not only is harmful to the stomach (you should take antiacids with it) but can also damage your kidneys. ER medic here. No, we do not weigh all patients. We do all paediatric patients. Or if it’s relevant to diagnosis or treatment. Once admitted different institutions have different policies. I’m not sure how a stat like ‘75% of admitted COVID-19 patients are overweight’. We do know that 74% of all Americans are overweight. The older you are, the more likely you’ll be out of shape/more likely you’ll be admitted because of age too. Correlation does not ≠ causation. You could claim ‘COVID-19 directly caused obesity’ with that logic. People near death may still be alive if they were not infected. People with terminal illnesses can live for YEARS!
