You say “peacock” and no one bats an eye… You say “poopcock” and society goes wild. Or I guess in this case: You say “poopcock” and no one bats an eye… You say “punching bag” and society goes wild.
Snöiller English isn’t my first language, sorry. Either way why does it matter if it is a small mistake. Don’t waste your time commenting things like that.
They didn’t let you name your bidoof because it had the word punching. Sir, this is a game about fighting. Theres literally attacks called fire punch, thunder punch, etc.
@@justacursedpfpwithsomesubs7130 yeah i hate it too bro ... you click to see any discussion or reply to the comment and you have to swim through atlantis ocean of bots to see legit comment ..
@@vrenks Yep. Let's remove all the dislikes instead of dealing with the bot problem I wouldn't be surprised if they just removed comments too just to avoid an anti bot feature to cut corners
Always fun seeing the crazy names people give their pokemon, letting the chat decide is definitely a recipe for pure chaos. In other news the comment bots are going absolutely wild.
The non-traditional pokemon games were always the best ones, mystery dungeon, pokemon ranger's, even rumble & rumble blast were fun. Pokemon conquest was another one i had a hell of a time playing Edit: also coliseum and XD were probably the 2 best pokemon games, hands down
@@yenjin583 grovyle was my favorite pokemon for a long time because of mystery dungeon. I beat explorers of time before i played 3rd gen, and when I evolved my grovyle into a sceptile I turned the game off, so i could reload when it was still a grovyle and keep it that way, because i've never been a fan of sceptile's design
Charlie saying the gym leaders should be demoted when they lose makes no sense. The gym leaders are there for the sole purpose of being beaten by the small children who capture and force the small sentient animals of the world to fight eachother. It's perfectly logical.
Also in like the actual "canon" of pokemon, gym leaders are much much stronger trainers, but they basically just have an inventory of random pokemon that they use based on the challenger's pokemon strength, so every time you fight a gym leader it's not really their level 12 geodude or whatever, it's just some random geodude that they have on standby
@@James-134 Plus, the entire purpose of the Gym Leaders is simply to test the Trainers if they can beat their theme. The anime shows it a lot better when they always have a rule that only the challenger can swap out Pokemon and Gym battles there are limited like fights in Stadium are. ...Also, Gym Leaders are HAPPY when you win.
@@CitrusRev If you're not a game developer I don't think throwing the word "lazy" around is responsible. Developing games, no matter how small, is hard work. If you want to criticize anyone, criticize the Pokemon Company for setting up these mandatory annual releases that must coincide with Anime, Merchandise, and other forms of annualized media. We are consumers, looking at these projects from the outside. Having worked on game projects before, it's not as black and white as you'd think. And before I get the "Gamefreak/Pokemon/Nintendo defender" line, no I don't even like Pokemon games enough to play them anymore. But I do empathize with the actual developers who have to work to get out a game every year.
Gamefreak is a terrible game developer that managed to find the most absolutely godlike game formula possible, just imagine if a team with actual passion was put in charge of Pokemon yknow
I've been watching people just straight start with a nuzlocke on this game ( because its a 1 for 1 of its remake) , that this normal run through felt weirdly foreign.
I've people called shinx a lot of things like "Harry potter" and "monke" but Charlie's "It looks like someone's fursona" is probably the most accurate one
1. These bots fucking suck. Like, figurative cancer right here. 2. The online used to be free but I believe it's all behind a paywall so that definitely makes the sucky-ness of the online more unacceptable.
Nintendos primary demographic used to be kids but ya know... kids grow up so now their primary demographic is adults Nintendo might still be using 20 year old data they have stored on written paper though
@@gdiridium5525 No, every species had their cries updated in Gen 6 to improve the quality. Go and watch a comparison video and you'll hear the difference. Modern Abra sounds NOTHING like a GB speaker, y'all are just stupid
It's more on how the design style changed in later games rather than just uninspired pokemon designs, everything is so kid friendly and mascot looking. And while gen 1 had it's fair share of horrible designed pokemon, it was also the first installment so a little bit of leniency can be given imo. It's just kind of weird how the designs have gotten worse instead of better over time.
He's literally got a jirachi before the second gym and if you have let's go you can get a mew. They have to be trying to make these games mindless at this point.
@@pokekiller787x No the point never stands - those gifts are rewards for playing the previous games, it's fully justified. If you don't want them just don't fucking use them, this isn't complicated
@@SnoFitzroy playing the previous games makes you entitled to two mythical legendaries before the second gym? If you give people the option to obliterate a game they will. This is laughable it's not even considering the fact that these so called "remakes" are glorified reskins of diamond and pearl with minimal changes. When your remakes are worse than an over decade old game(Platinum) you've made pathetic remakes.
15:00 pheromosa is the new gardevoir. i used her online on the 3ds against real people with the focus sash or whatever it was all the time. effective strat.
I enjoy the plot of BW better than most of the others(SM is at the top for me) and though I dislike the story, SWSH has gotta have some of my favorite graphics
