Happy for him. Met Mac once when working in Starbucks in Astor Place NYC. He was hidden beneath a long black trench coat and wraparound sunglasses but still gave his name for his cup as, "Mac." I told him about how I had just watched the Sonic Youth video he was in and we started talking music. I was about to go on break so I told him to hold up and we could continue the conversation. I sat outside and talked music with him for 15 minutes and he was a genuine and down to earth guy.
It's weird. You can see the point where Rogan realizes he's chasing a never ending rainbow that doesn't exist while Culkin explains that he himself has nailed it and is living the life. Good on you Macaulay.
Naw. He’s thinking mac’s only 38 and already living retired and retired gets boring real quick. Macs not doing anything w/his life just fucking around and it’s a waste. I think that’s Joe’s confusion.
Mac’s podcast is funny af and I thoroughly enjoy listening to it. You’d be surprised how much he’s changed over the years. Very well spoken and intelligent
this is definitely the stiffest part of the podcast. culkin is just talking about things he has fun with and doesnt take too seriously, being very relaxed and relatable imo, and joe is annoyed he doesn't run month long marathons or live with wolves for fun. the rest of the podcast flowed pretty well, id definitely want to see him come back. comes off as an interesting, balanced guy. joe could use more guests like that
i understand that, its annoying when celebrities make millions, then do drugs and commit crimes, serve zero jail time and go back to being rich, comedians have to tour and hustle and if they say the wrong joke their career is over and they got to work a normal 10$ and hour job.
I have always loved Mack, he's one of the few " celebrities" who are genuine, down to earth, and doesn't just covet fame ao much they'll do ANYTHING for it. He's so likable and just a good person.
I tell ya what im gonna give you Snakes, imma give you to the count of 10 to getchya ugly, yella, no good keestur off my property, for I pump your gutts fulla lead.
He kept throwing out ideas from his website fishing for a laugh from Joe who didn’t even break a smile. The longer he went the more uncomfortable I felt
Rogan is hating on his lifestyle but Rogan is the one who invited him on the podcast in the first place. Culkin is just a regular person at this point just living his life
Joe will unconvincingly laugh like a high pitch teenage boy over videos of guys farting but he has no cognitive ability when it comes to articulate and intelligent humour
It's their escapistic nature. You can tell that they both try to avoid serious stuff by acting charming and accommodative but something isn't quite right. Goldblum has a more innocent vibe though.
I'm really impressed how intelligent he is. It's clear he has literally grown up in Hollywood, it's a behavior and additude you can't help but see. I wish him the best great podcast!
Love Mac Culkin! I was a kid while he was making all those movies, and I loved watching him on screen. I'm super happy for him these days 'cause he's really got his life together with a beautiful family.
Don't watch a lot of Joe's vid's admittedly but he seemed annoyed for some reason.... why bring a guest on and then act like you don't want him there??.. totally rude
cheddar bob pedophilia in the Catholic Church is very common, in all kinds of churches also. Instagram in known for letting scam ads mostly “casting ads” that can lead to human/child trafficking etc. Evil is around us more commonly now and these sheep ignore it or if they do know something they’re afraid to speak about it I’m high af 😂😂 I’m sorry
@ya boi skinny penis I don't agree with you, personally I think drugs are alot better than drugs, but I rather drink drugs on the weekends and stick with drugs on weekdays just for relaxation. But I respect Ur opinion though.
Mac's website is very interesting and creative. I thought it was going to be some small project one that won't get any attention after a few years. But surprisingly its still there and always has something well written on there. I haven't listened any of the podcast though.
WOW! ...am I impressed. Macaulay Culkin seems just like a regular guy. How refreshing considering the directions other former child actors have taken ... usually on some kind of road to destruction, but not this guy. Now, I would actually like to meet him some day. Thanks Joe for this interview.
I can see why. I find McCauley very difficult to listen to for lengths of time. He simultaneously acts like everything he says is very important without ever saying anything of substance. He also constantly tries to cue other people into laughing by doing that repeated fake laugh at his own jokes.
davesgk but I find him interesting? And he does say things of substance geez. What? He has to be some big philosopher with great philosophy to keep you interested?
@@xMyPointlessChannelx he just comes across like he's spent a lot of time surrounded by groupies and yes men. His sense of comedy is way off too. Like that whole pizza underground project. That was an awful idea. No one told him not to do that, and random people got on board and he ended up getting booed off stage. multiple times.
Haha true. I mean he seems like a good guy but he’s not particularly interesting compared to most of the JRE guests. But hearing Rogan talk to most anyone is still interesting. He has a way of asking the right questions, making interesting observations, and bringing up topics that make for good conversation for us to listen to.
I think it's their personalities. Mac seems super hyped up like he just pounded down two red bulls and did a line of coke. Joe on the other hand never seems all that excited during most of his interviews which I suspect is because he is mellow for some reason....
I deeply admire Macaulay Culkin. I mean, he's a former child star who wants to take control of his own career and life. Macaulay has had people control him for a long time. It's time he controls his own life and lives the way he wants to.
Macaulay “that kinda thing” Culkin He reminds me of my brother in law, who ALWAYS says “that kinda thing”. Jokes aside, he seems chill as hell in every interview I watch with him. Glad to see him happy and healthy.
This comment section is like a knitting circle consisting of fat judgmental ugly people that have shitty jobs and shitty lives. Lolol, one of the types of cancer that thrive in society somehow.
The hard part bout culkin was seeing him in the good son... and going damn this boy can act...Nice to see him have a sense of humor and gratefulness for his past experience.
@@butterygold shaking hands, lol? I worked in rehabs and everyone had shaking hands at times, usually from too much F ING coffee. He's clearly nervous here. And Jo is being a douche.
It's just a cautious approach it seems, Joe's a straight forward, blunt guy and it's there first time meeting and interacting. I wouldn't label it disinterested more feeling it out
wait.....so this channel literally takes a quick 10 min snip of a live stream from a huge channel, and uploads it for 56 THOUSAND VIEWS in 7 hours?! holy shit dude. Im in the wrong bizz
Sounds like a genius way to re-monetize videos you previously made. People are making mad cash figuring out ways to make videos that get lots of views.
I generally understand how sound recording works, but why in such a small studio for streaming you use super big studio headphones and that huge crane mic holders. Just put that mics on small table stands and insert some small mono headphones in ear and everything will look much more unloaded, like you two sitting in some cafe not like you gather to record Black Album
Flashy Paws who hurt you for you to be like this, was it the priest? Or maybe your uncle? Or that old guy across the street that keeps a jar of his pubes on the table where he eats?
