It was in 'The Advocate' which redacted Spacey's name (so much for brave journos ) but the writer of said article has now confirmed that Rapp had been speaking about Spacey way back when he gave that interview.

Anthony Rapp has been telling this story to friends and in print magazines (without naming Spacey) since the 1990s. And his friends vouch for having heard the story going back to that point. So this isn't a case of the guy suddenly telling his story and we have reason to question his memory of the events.
