I'm not kidding, I'm locked outside my house right now and my wife won't be home for hours. I didn't specifically look this video up in order to kick the door down, but that's what I'm thinking now.
Three to four weeks of just practicing that kick. Trust me, I know it too well, so just pick a few kicks that you think are effective and that you like and practice them everyday, build up your muscles. I can do a spinning hook kick easy now.
I used to practice against bags just for fun and even the experts at the gym could never make the bag move like that... holy cow those are strong kicks.
Precision, power, and playful. He looks fantastic and I don’t mean at his age. At any age. When considering how complicated movements are the execution is flawless. He emphasizes one key point that’s esoteric; hip movement. It’s hard to appreciate unless you try. It’s advanced and should be studied. He did another video where he clearly demonstrates hip action with I think GSP holding a bag. That explanatory video is perfect for anyone wanting to do kicks like him.
You should be aware of your hips always, in daily life. To do so allows you to be more aware of your body in general because we spend more time aware of walking and working with our upper bodies, we forget what that all hinges on. Our CENTRE of Gravity. Be Centred. Always
Seeing this amount of power in Joe's spinning kicks makes me believe that even world champs in boxing/kick boxing/ MMA...etc wouldn't be able to take a full powered kick from Joe
yeah, elite fighters and martial art grandmasters praise Joe for his power and technique in kicking, sure he probably could't fight in UFC at elite levels because its not his goal, he stopped fighting at ~20, he's just training and learning for his own benefits, and imho Joe would fold 99% of normal people, the other 1% would be them with guns, and this is considering at the worst case scenarios.
@@madtitan2174 hey maybe know the difference between affects and effects if you're going to insult someone's intelligence, but you're totally right, weed affects everyone differently. I don't know how people think "Everyone throughout all of history feels EXACTLY like this" lol
@Justin Edwards you say wait for it like it's a slow kick. He gets these kicks off in less than a second, so yes ppl will stand there and "wait" for it, because they're not even gonna see it coming
That wouldn't change the speed of the sound moving from the point of impact to the microphone, though. Except maybe the sound of his leg crashing the sound barrier destroyed the microphone, which is entirely possible and I assume that everytime one of his kicks lands, a portal to another dimension opens up, which will eventually tear down the fabric of space and time.
@Toti he interrupted Joe mid sentence at least 15 times and just rambled on about anything they happened to be talking about, one of the top comments some guy time-stamped some of Joe's reactions to being cut off it's fucking hilarious.
Trash can collector joe Leaves what does that mean?? I’m just saying for the type of things joe talks and jokes about and if you didn’t know his past history as a fighter and works for the UFC as an announcer only as a Podcaster you wouldn’t suspect this man’s kicks to be so incredible
@mr nom naah kicks are extremely powerfull done right look at muay thai buakaw he basically elliminates his opponents with only leg kicks or body kicks to same area, if you joe rogan last scene it takes a fraction of a second for him to perform one of those high kicks to the head certainly not expected
Common Sense dude... He's a four-time Massachusetts taekwondo champion. Did that in his teens and early 20's. He's also trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai for more than a decade and has a few black belts.
Nope, it's a tae Kwon do thing he studied it growing up there are old fights when he was like 19 spin kicking people to sleep! All his buddies learned it from him!
Funny cos Joe Rogan admitted in his podcast when he’s near UFC fighters he feels intimidated and one time in an elevator with Jon Jones he thought, “this mf could kill me easy any time”
