Holy shit! I know this comment is from a year ago, but I just watched this, and literally said out loud: “Jesus Christ Joe! Shut up! Do you ever let your guests talk?!” And he’s such a stereotypical “stupid person trying to sound smart.”
thats kinda the whole point of a podcast dumbass. hosts are supposed to take the backseat in these things or else it would be the same shit every episode
Conner O'Neill Quite a few actually. I just got her audiobook Operation Paperclip. A story so interesting the Marvel Cinematic Universe incorporated the real life event to arguably its best movie, The Winter Soldier (aka the movie that broke Captain America and made him the best character of the series).
I've had dreams that have occured in reality. My friend was in a coma, I dreamt he woke from it. Days later his Dr told us he had no brain activity and that we needed to comfort him as opposed to treating him, basically to let him go. I argued with the dr, begged him not to give up as I felt my dream was correct. The day after, I arrived at the hospital expecting to witness the hospital "pull the plug" and let him go. My friends saw me as I entered the hallway where his room was , "Melissa, he's awake", as I entered the room, my dream played out exactly as I seen it. Two days later he called my phone, he had remembered my phone number. But, he was braindead right?
It doesn't mean that you're psychic. It means you get manifestations or dreams or information as visions. I get the same but I immediately tell the people I dream about and I have a book writing all my dreams so I can look back at them and I write the interpretation in pencil.
I had the most crazy psychic dream once. No lie. I dreamed that I was asleep in my bedroom (as I was actually asleep in my bedroom) and that a really close old friend of mine who had move across the country 10 years prior walked into my bedroom startling me awake. As soon as I looked at him I could tell something was weird. He looked like he has no emotions, no soul. He walked to my computer desk and sat down not looking at me or at anything. (I’m getting chills writing this). I said to him “Hey Jason, what are you doing here?” He replied in a monotone voice that sounded way too low and hollow and certainly nothing like his voice or the voice of any human “I am not Jason but you will hear him soon”. As soon as finished saying this I woke up to my phone ringing. I answered the phone and it was Jason. He had never called me in the whole ten years that he had left. Not once. He told me he was coming home for a vacation in a few weeks and wanted for me to come hang at his family cottage. I flipped the f out! True story!!!
I believe you. Had a similar experience with my former best friend. Even time frames and no contact in the meantime match. Thank you. Your story gives me great comfort that mine was not just coincidence. These things happen. edit: Side note, it would appear that our most valuable friendships even a higher plane of existence acknowledges. How cool is that?
@@txwhyxbeetsx4ever381 haha. Weed, bar clams, beer, tequila, burgers, and good times. Oh and there was this weird book bound in human flash that we found in a lockbox in the crawl space.
I USED to think psychics were full of crap, until I walked into a room off the street in far away town and had a woman who had never seen me before told me something very specific about my life that NO ONE could have known. Because I did not believe in psychics, I did not figure out until years later that she was right.
I try not to do that. But sometimes I just can help but mention a random thing and somebody near me (a total stranger) will instantly relate. I can feel it coming and most of the time I stifle it because it freaks people out.
What I don't like about her is it seems her whole personality is revolved around that stupid book and she's taking every chance she gets to advertise it in what's supposed to be a podcast, not a commercial-break.
Joe...if you get this response I just want to say that every show is riveting. Your intel on every subject amazes me, but as I have just discovered, your shows with Annie are incredible. I've not known of her before this, but I could listen to you two for hours...which I just did! I hope there is something with her more recent.
Ed Mitchell apparently had the highest IQ of all the astronauts. He wasn’t only into ESP he also pursued quantum holographics. I don’t reckon average or slightly above IQ folk can see /!think around corners like these slightly off centre genius people ( Elon , Ed Mitchell..)
E B yes she believes that there is a-lot of people full of shit same like joe. And its true . But that did not change her neutral stance as she still believe that maybe some are not bull shit. She never say its 50/50 she never confirmes or denies. 😊
I can’t help but kinda of agree and seriously wonder about having a potentially psychic kind of connection with someone. Being so in tune with a person that you somehow run into them or you somehow come across them, even through social media or in casual conversation after you thrill about someone so much.
Should have Russell Targ on the show, someone who actually ran the remote viewing programs. CIA funded it for 20 years and declared it unsuccessful after some military officer was blabbering about it publicly.
Certainly is strange for sure. I understand that the government has unlimited funds but still, why would they waste the time for two decades if they could've realized it was bullshit after the first few?
In my experience Joe, certain people do have a connection beyond. Not everyone is a con artist. I’ve had some experiences that could turn you around on that subject. Not everything is logic, some things just are and we are not meant to know the how. Some people call that faith, I call it destiny. Even as a nonbeliever, certain individuals have proven to me they can tap into something only I had access to till they showed me in person they also knew. ❤️🙏👁
Maybe you should try and win that Million dollar prize that James Randi has had up for years for anyone who can prove they have psychic or super natural abilities...Over 3 decades and no one has managed to prove this under scientific observation...
I have seen many psychics in my time. The majority of them were full of crap but I have seen a handful of them that are spot on & I gave them NOTHING to go on. I never do. I have also had experiences of knowing things & going to towns I have never been to but knowing where everything is. So it’s an interesting thing.
I know of a book with a similar test of psychic ability involving an astronaut. The psychic was also in Chicago but didn't use cards. His job was to relay what the astronaut was thinking at the time and the experiment involved various distances between the two guys. According to the book, it was totally successful. The psychic business definitely is a hustle for the majority of people practicing but I do believe there are people who have an extra level of perception than most.
In the book;Psychic Warrior,by David Morehouse who worked for the CIA,s remote viewing unit, has several first person narratives about his missions. Example;his unit was tasked to visit the oil fields in Kuwait as Saddam Husseins army pulled out. They placed many stainless steel cannisters filled with nerve or biological agents at the base of the oil wells as they were detonated, spewing their toxic materials into the air as coalition forces invaded Kuwait. The result;Gulf War Syndrone.
Everyone talks about her voice, which never really got to me. But I gotta say, a few of the "mmm yessss"s in this one finally hit the target. I just wish she'd stop talking about all her goddamn books so I could take her seriously.
April 13th 2021. My husband and I are sailing in the British Virgin Islands and reading Annie's book Phenomenon. I'm on page 127. So far great read. Fascinating. Annie you are. brilliant. Thank you! ❤️👍
That works only for when they are going back. I think he was looking at the map on the way forward. Going back would be easy, because you would most likely see the space craft and know where to go :)
James Randi has the best videos on debunking psychics. I particularly liked the one of him in Russia asking these so-called psychics to tell us about the men in photos He gave them. The photos were of serial killers like Ted Bundy and the psychics were full of so much shiz, it was awesome. He still has a million dollar reward out for anyone who can prove their psychic abilities.
Normally I’m a skeptic with everything but I literally had my own experience with one who didn’t advertise as a psychic or took money for it. The phenomenon exists.
I was reading something about psychics and premonitions. And something about it struck a nerve to me once was about extrasensory observations on especially in how the subconscious is able to pick up patterns of things that are imperceptible to our waking mind. We can see lots of things about fake psychics doing cold reading. It could have simply be an explanation of some people have the ability to process information that the rest of us don't have access to and when I say information I mean Trace amounts of pheromones in the air and other just bizarre things that are possible.
Exactly! One time on a hike we lost our snack bag it was a a 9 hour hike/climb we got about 7 hours in & by that time I was starving so I decided to eat these berries that looked like blueberries but they were red & I just had this really powerful gut feeling that they were not poisonous so I ate a couple handfuls of them & after about 10-15 mins I started convulsing & aggressively shitting my pants that’s why I’ll never eat jack-in-the-box breakfast ever again
I've experienced what appeared to be a psychic-like relationship with a friend of mine.. if he popped up in my mind all of a sudden, i'd get a text or call from him and vice versa, while also 'knowing' what he's feeling. There are more examples but I want to get to my point. I don't know if it's a psychic connection we had developed or if it was from us spending too much time together.. so much time, we actually don't talk to each other anymore. Now that psychic connection is gone i believe, but there isn't a way to tell since we don't communicate. weird shit
Did he ever say if that kind of stuff happens to him alot or if it was just with you two? I've had those kind of things happen to me all the time whenever I get close with somebody
@@rogergillion4493 No like honestly wtf got you started on all of this? No one said shit to you and the comment you replied to had nothing to do with this
@@rogergillion4493 I don't have time to argue with someone about moon landings. I am willing to bet money you've never seen the dozens and dozens of hours of LIVE and UNCUT footage of lift off, space travel, moon entry, landing, and first steps on moon. I know you haven't. Because that is clear proof we went to the moon and you want to believe it was a master fake. There are real secrets surrounding the moon, but never going is not one of them.
A phenomena I find very interesting and it's actually quite common is old couples that have been together for decades and one gets ill and dies then the partner who had nothing wrong with them will die a few days /weeks later . Some say they die from a broken heart . My mum works with old people at palliative care and when my grandpa died she was really worried for my nana as my mum knows how common this kinda thing is but my gran was fine and she's still with us 2 years later .
it's usually men who die after their spouses pass away, in our respective societies & those adjacent to them. Women are usually more resilient & perservering regarding this.
Well, from a guy’s perspective, if you’ve lived a full life, once your kids have their own kids to care for, then your wife dies, there’s nothing left to try for. You’ve made it. Also, I think that a lot of men, including myself, stay healthy moreso for their family than themselves.
@@ULICKMYBUTCRACK I feel like at that age we can probably auto leave our body on command I really feel we have powers hidden secrets we probably have been kept from
It’s weird but I finished this listening to this clip of Joe talking at his guest, wishing I could have heard Annie Jacobsen talk about the government’s experiments with psychics.
About 15 years ago, I drove to my aunts house in Los Feliz. It was like I was in a stupor. I went on and on about her brother/my uncle.. asking if he was ok, and still in the hospital. She said "I just spoke to him 5 minutes ago! He's fine! Are you ok?" And I insisted he is not ok, if he was in the hospital. She said "wow. It's true. You really are crazy!" Next day, he had an aneurysm and was in the hospital. Died a short time later. When I was 16, my friend Mary was leaving my house. A house right on the corner of Hatteras and Woodlake in Woodland Hills. I begged her not to leave. I cried, and grabbed her arm. It was one of those crazy spells I had. She kept yelling "come on! I have to write my thesis! I have to write my thesis!!" And I let go of her arm and said "fine. Get in that car accident". She got in an accident right after she left my driveway. I don't believe in psychics either. Don't believe in a f@cking god of any kind. I just don't know how to explain these events that have happened in my life
I'm still impressed with the time the Long Island Medium lady was on Dr. Oz and had her brain scanned. When doing the mediumship the scan showed less activity than a sleeping brain. They thought that if she was honestly wrong - meaning she believed in her skill but in fact it was an over-active imagination - that the parts of the brain responsible for creativity would light up. They didn't. That's not conclusive proof but it gives you something to think about.
@@damiancollins475 the fact that you wrote this comment showcases how ignorant you are. Our bodies make dmt, every.single. day. ingesting dmt is just a shortcut. We make a lot of dmt when we dream and before we die, food for thought maybe. ok.
I was exactly cynical like Joe until a woman told me things about my future which I absolutely found impossible but everything she said came to pass exactly as she said some 20+ years later.
@@anirudhkannan9 Among the things she said was that I would have my own auto repair shop but in another country, speaking a different language. That was almost 40 years ago when leaving the country was absolutely unimaginable to me. Now I fix cars in Serbia. There were many detailed things she told me which are too personal for me to share but I clearly remember how much I thought she was full of it at the time she read me. I was only there to escort my girlfriend and was bored so I figured I'd pass the time with a "reading".
@@karmicmessenger Do you think you changed your behaviour as a result of her predictions? Or were some of these things seemingly outside of your control?
@@anirudhkannan9 I definitely did not change my behavior as a result of anything she said; as a matter of fact she never crossed my mind again until I realized that her predictions were coming true some thirty years later. I had immediately dismissed everything she said at the time and thought no more of it. At the time of that reading no one could have convinced me that it was at all possible. I was trapped by my girlfriend to accompany her to this psy seminar and while she was enjoying herself I felt like the guy holding the purse waiting for her to get her fill. I sat down at the nearest table to see what bullshit they were going to try to sell me just to pass the time. She told me things that would happen which I thought impossible and I dismissed them immediately.

my ex gf when i was young and i was really close, and we tried me holding a playing card she couldnt see and i stared her in her eyes and tried broadcasting the card and i think she got 3 right after eachother which is a statistical improbability and it kind of freaked us out and we stopped. i think about that still.. surely we are able to transmit and pick up on energy from eachother

What's crazy is for like the last 3 months, the name Bannachek has been popping in my head. So much I decided to name a character that name in my book, and now Joe says that's his friend's name on a podcast about this weird clairvoyance. 🤔
Telling the future is more like your brain automatically filling out a calculation without you consciously knowing how you came to that conclusion. It's a trippy experience.
