Otherwise LeBron and Jordan would have double digit MVP’s. But this year was a clear case of the best player in the world also being the most valuable. Obviously the playoffs have helped show just how wide the gap between the two really is, but I can’t imagine any serious fan of the game actually believing that Embiid is more valuable. I would be shocked if even a single GM in the league would take Embiid over Jokic to build a team around. Winning 3 in a row is considered hallowed ground, and that’s the only reason there was even a debate.
