Dave White It was a segment like a couple weeks ago and Colin was talking about the Eagles head coach writing a book and was saying how other great coaches don’t even have a book. Joel found it hilarious so every time he’s on the show now he brings up “got a book”

I have a huge amount of respect for Joe Klatt which started after he admitted he was wrong about Alabama in 2015. I respect how he still, to this day, admits how wrong he was.

Best player gets to play. How is that doing wrong by the players? He played an entire year last year and was the 2nd best QB on the team. The team just carried him. Then the Nstional Championship Game. Had to bench him because 27 yards passing against Georgia just couldnt let it go.

jonathan page Benching him isn’t doing wrong to Hurts. Playing him for 4 games and wasting his career is doing him wrong. If Tua is the starter from here on out, tell Hurts and either don’t play him or let him transfer mid year

Maybe he wants to play more than 4 games. His career ends with his senior year. He is a great runner but has no shot of playing QB on the pro level. I dont see how other teams would be after him so much. Everyone that plays Alabama with him as the starter knows how to defend against him. They just cant because of the talent Alabama has.

I love Jalen and he would normally be a 4 year starter at Alabama or most schools. I just dont understand where people started saying he deserves this and that. Its competition and he is clearly the 2nd best on the team. Not a knock on him just facts. I dont want him to leave. As an Alabama fan I wish we could get 4 years out of both QBs.

ND has talent a lot of it and it’s a matter of will the coaches get out of the players way and let them showcase the talent. They may not get in the playoff because the schedule is not easy not brutal but harder than a lot of power 5 schedules. As for Michigan time will tell but fact is harbaugh hasn’t made any jumps and is doing worse with his guys than he did with guys from the previous regime.

I thought it was sophisticated of Colin too admit he was wrong about notre dame they looked like a playoff team the d line and line backer play was great. They have a great safety, the left side of the Oline looked good, and Wilmbush and Brian Kelly took chances threw the ball and that opens up the run game.

No the media made it his job to answer those questions, and you guys have been constantly asking him about the same damn question; So he was frustrated after a game where he saw a lot of need for improvement and then the first question he gets is AGAIN the first question he got, I don't think he was ready for it. It didn't matter who asked him that question, the question was the problem

Not sure why this is confusing for people anymore and question Saban about who his starting QB is. He played both QBs in the National Championship last year and keeps both QBs prepared. Nick is just miles ahead and wins Championships on the reg...

Um, no. It is better not to split reps between two guys, except for one each guy gives you a signifigant downside; like the last LSU championship dual-QB system. Because it splits the reps, and makes any QB half as experienced as they should be to really start dominating some of these teams; especially where training for specific team strategies each given weak is concerned. Keeping both guys prepared as a starter is ridiculous, one needs to simply be a backup, with lower responsibilities - Saban knows this.

Finally Klatt recognized ND’s ability. All I’ve ever heard since our win is that Michigan played awful and they weren’t running the right offense for Shea Patterson. This may have been true, but you have to attribute some of that to ND playing really well. Praise Klatt

I find it funny that they praise the SEC and how they are sooooo good. Yet, only one team played a top 25 school which was Auburn. The rest played either low, unknown D1 schools, or D1 schools that are rebuilding right now.

Michigan will get better throughout the season. Something needs to change on offense though. Defense had a terrible start and gave up some 50/50 passes. Once they got going they were good though. Getting rid of Harbaugh is definitely not the answer though.

Michigan has always been over rated they always been a 8 and4 type team. They were good at the turn of the century but have only 1 national championship in the last 50 something years and no way would they have beaten Nebraska . Nebraska was the one and only champ that year

Uh...Michigan is the winningest program out there, and were a powerhouse until 2008. In the past 50 years Michigan has had the most ranked finishes and is 3rd in top 10 finishes behind Alabama and Ohio State. They are defintely a blueblood program, better than Texas and Nebraska at least.
