Austin is increasingly not a football school. The stadium empties by the 3rd quarter and people go and do other stuff. Colin is spot on about Austins lack of commitment to football culturally.

Colton Smith What? If you finish #1 in the AP poll, you are the national champion. Nothing else to it. It’s been that way since 1936. Other publications would deem national champions before then. This argument doesn’t help the number of AP titles Michigan has, but you can’t say national champions in college football didn’t exist before the BCS lmao

Colin for the record, you can't use "I feel like..." and have a valid argument because it isn't based on any fact at all. The facts are that those schools haven't won as much in the last 20 years, but don't disrespect what those schools do on a daily basis to win, and what they have done in the past. if I told you Notre Dame wasn't a football school(they are) you'd call me crazy, but they haven't had much success either...

I like Colin, but here he’s just grasping at headlines. He’s absolutely off his rocker here. Just because Michigan and Texas haven’t been in national title contention in the last 5 or so years doesn’t mean they’re not football schools. Those are BLUE BLOOD programs. Texas has never had a 50 year gap between titles. We’ve had a 35 year gap. But Ohio state had a similar gap around 34 years I believe

Texas and Michigan have never been known for winning national titles they've been known for just playing football for a long time that's it....michigan has 1 since 1948, Texas has one since 1969....they're a BRAND....they're not about CHAMPIONSHIPS.
