Glad you are good. These storms are devastating. I grew up in Panama City FL and have been through many. Never seen this volume of rain. Prayers up for these folks.
Hey Pops, long time follower and ex-groupie of the group of guys who did the Farmageddon stuff with you. I'm still stuck in Illinois, but TBH, that's okay. I've been thinking about you guys out that way and praying for everyone who was in Helene's path. Ray put up an early vid and that told us how seriously bad things were. There's a guy who lives in Chimney Rock Mark Huneycutt and I've followed his channel for years. He's been doing some amazing vids and work. His latest give us a kind of detailed look at the slides that happened in the mountains. It's pretty impossible to process for the human brain. Glad you're good. Super cool to hear about your daughter playing soccer in college too. I'm reliving my youth through our 5 kids who are all really involved in sports. It almost makes me feel young again. Thoughts and prayers to all affected and especially to those super heroes on the ground doing recovery and cleanup. Thanks for checking in and sorry I'm late in my reply. I hope Ricky 6 and TR are well. Cheers
Dood to see you Pops!!.....I have been thinking about you with all of the storm damage lately. I hope you and every are safe and I have been praying for everyone out there.
We lost power at our neighborhood for a week and outlying areas are just getting power back on. The only damage we had was a branch fell on my pop up green house and lost a few shingles. No flooding though.
Glad to hear it. Somehow in my mind you were in NC. That must have been rough not knowing about your daughter for days. My wife would lose it. Ironically, while the storm was making landfall I was buying a place on a river in North East Kentucky.
I was there last Saturday picking up my daughter at thr University in Asheville and all my years including lots of combat, ai never seen what I saw. The carnage and destruction is worse then Katrina and we don't even know what the total is. I seen 26ft deep water in area where the closest body of water is 10 miles away. It was simply insane. Just glad I could read maps and could navigate. 90miles out lost GPS. People were pulled over side of the road cause they didn't know how to navigate. Just glad I was able to get her back safe. Glad all is good on your end as well. 🙏
Yep.. strange path for a storm.. The sc low country and Columbia got lucky this time. not so much for the SC upstate and western NC. I dont think we will see tripp at the matches for a while. His remodeling business just went into hyperdrive.
