Fleadog Green yeah but being that big for that long takes a tole on ur body. That’s a big reason why he can’t lose all of the weight now, because his body is damaged from all the years of abuse(not mentioning drugs)
Young Marius I hear ya but think of once it’s up and going. It’s only going to grow and get bigger. If they really do censor free for creators then one guy just changed the whole world! That’s beyond $5 billion.
@jimmy matho No he fucking wasn't. On youtube 1000 views equals roughly $1 of ad revenue. With Joes 5 billion total views between two channels we an estimate his ad revenue of 5 million, maybe less depending on demonetisation, plus non youtube sponsors.
I think the Spotify deal is huge. Especially with RU-vid censoring people, this is huge. RU-vid has felt untouchable for a long time and that they could do whatever they want. But now with the possibility of streaming companies doing something like this, it’s shaking things up a bit.
@b1untrama Spotify is pretty good but I know they are ruining the music industry. That said whether or not you want to pay for Spotify Podcasts are free. Just an fyi..
@@billyracks My understanding is that spotify free is full of ads. JRE on RU-vid only has like 4 ads max in 3 hours. I don't use spotify, so I'm not gonna start paying for it just to watch JRE. I'll try the free version but I'm bummed he gave spotify exclusive rights. Joe always made sure the podcast was easy to get. Every episode has been available as a free audio download on his site. I'm sure that will be gone.
I took a shot with him on a small patio at a small bar in Columbus Ohio about 6 or 7 years ago. We both had a shot of Jäger and smoked a joint. He was cool as a mother fkn cucumber, homeboy 🍻
Joe rogan isn’t a comedian for me, he’s a talk show host and one of the best at that! So many cool and interesting people have been on it, and he asks real questions aswel, it’s the best!
Stand up comedy doesn't have to make you bust your gut laughing to be worthy... look at George Carlin... he wasn't very funny, but damn he made you think.
I've lost count of how many "reactions" and "analysis" of Rogan's deal I've come across since it was announced. Easily a couple of dozen. This is the only one that I've been interested in listening to.
@First Munch Right? It's like they assume all that money just automatically drops into his pocket and nobody else has to get paid from it. Not saying it's not a helluva deal.
Taylor Libby people in RU-vid comment sections have 0 sense of economics or business in general. Joe will probably end up pocketing like $20M. Agencies, managers, employees, etc.
DIAZ...."This did not happen because he's Joe over night" ME: WAKE UP ! Joe was/is a "DISNEY CHILD " just like Timberlake and Britney spears....You dont know the truth either Joe D. Love you but your buddy Joe was PLANNED from the day he was born...Look at his Background...Anyone that dos Disney that early is part of the propaganda machine, i dont know if he went Rogue.....Just saying, Thats why David Icke is not on his show yet ? he would blow the cover eventually. #stilllovebothjoes
He played Pussy on Mad TV's spoof of The Sopranos on the PAX Network. Go check out that clip if you haven't, it's well worth it if you need a good laugh.
@@douca1 man you just know joe rogan is gonna spoil the fuck out of his friends. He's always been generous...like giving money, buying gifts, shouting dinner, etc. I remember a guest on a JRE podcast telling joe about wanting to try a flotation tank, and joe literally bought and got one delivered to his home lmao
DB Cooper's MoneyBags why would they do that? Because Joe built a cache for it to make it worth their while (free advertising). The only luck Joe DID get was he was a really good looking guy when he was young, so as a comic *that* got him a development deal which put him in the system. He admits he was lucky, but plenty of people get a break...not many get this big simply on the strength of talking.
DB Cooper's MoneyBags you’re entitled to tour opinion (wrong as it is) but Spotify don’t seem to think so... nor did RU-vid... and the millions and millions of his fans don’t either. So to sum up... Joe Rogan is NOT overrated
Joey is the kind of friend I wish more of us had. His loyalty & respect is incredible to see him just describe his friend without knowing all the intricate details of things like these deals.
I love listening to Joey talk about his friends it’s so good that there’s people like this I’m hoping people listen to how important your friends are over anything in this world
You’ll get yours one day Joey. I hope it happens for you on this scale. You are far more talented In comedy in my opinion than your peers hands down. We love you uncle Joey!!!
I was playing mafia 3 last night and I swear he voiced someone in the game because the model of the character looked just like him and says cocksucka with the same voice, you can't mistake it
You're right, Joey. I wasted time. I smoked too much weed. This shit kills me. I need to focus again, organize my days and leave smoking for the night. I gotta focus on guitar like I intend always.
Brother I do the same. It’s ideal to just smoke at night as a nightcap. Ease up & chill with a little weed before your sleep. Gives you the kick & push to go in the morning
You're already on the first step, you realized you have a problem. Now you gotta do something about it if you think you cant 100% quit just stick to only foing it on the weekends or something. Good luck bro
Yeah and for only 3 years and the deal is closer to the 200m range it's pretty amazing. Then after he still owns his whole catalogue and can do what he wants.
Licensing and buying is the difference between the podcast staying authentic and being a sellout. So calm down with the shit take here my friend. It makes all the difference in the world to millions of listeners
@@ImChrisNotChrist For sure. Plus it establishes an enticing stall for other artists to negotiate licensing terms. Joe is retaining integrity and ownership of his product, plus both he and Spotify make a fortune.
Well said. I think alot of these guys convince themselves that they got where they are by hard work alone. Of course hard work played a part but so did being in the right place at the right time and that's mostly luck. Rogan has had alot of luck to go along with his hard work. He did not create his own luck like these guys like to think otherwise everyone who works hard would be successful.
Omg stfu, you wouldn't ask Dana White to do the commentating for what was seen as a barbaric sport that would never take off for free and u wouldn't sit down making 1000's of episodes of podcasts for free. Joe Rogan is more successful than you because he works harder and smarter than you, simple. People make their own luck. The harder you work the luckier you get. You can be a complainer or an achiever but u cant be both. Yes plenty of people work hard, but they either have no vision or they are only working hard compared with their own maximal output and other people are working harder than them. Like there are people who come to western countries with literally nothing and make millionaire empires but here you are calling it luck, sickening
@@solshields immigrants are the hardest working people working the shittiest jobs 40,50 hours a week maybe at $12 do you see them hosting fear factor? It's all about who you know
What type of working hard do you mean? Working hard in a job under an employer gets you nowhere above the limit of promotions/raises that are present when you got the job. Working hard on your own venture as an entrepreneur like Rogan is what gets you to high places.
Uncle Joey is the most truthful person out there. Always giving it to us straight and telling us how it is. That's the kind of person you need on your side. Telling you how it is straight up no BS
Pezao he’s so well spoken that he connects to everyone through his podcast and his podcast is fucking huge look at how many views he gets on youtube, Spotify will make at least 500 mill by sponsoring joe
Ive watched joes career from his news radio days where he was my favorite character on the show. Im constantly blown away by the quality of his work product that hes put out and all the different places hes popped up over the years with that same consistency. Good for you joe rogan!
just like every pop band in the 60's ripped of the Beatles' hair and every late night show has curtains and a desk like Letterman and Leno. Everyone tries to align themselves with the best, it's what you bring to the table that makes you unique.
Your Such A Humble Person And Shows That You Work Hard And Will Achieve So TYVMUCH Joey I've Been Working Hard On A Project For Eight Years Going On 9 And My Hard Work And Belief Are Going To Feed My Family For Generations I Hope To Inspire People As You Do 👊🏽🙏🏽🤲🏽💯
Works hard but more importantly he is likeable. For podcasts and presenting, which is what Joe does, you've got to be likeable. I dont go along with him being one of the smartest guys. I think thats more comics sucking up to him. But he does come across as genuine and likeable. And thats more important if you want big audiences.
@@aubreydean2246 He does work and there is a skill to what he does. but yes its true he gets paid to talk as a likeable host who ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. He probably likes to think he is a comedian but thats not really his wheelhouse. He is like 'freinds' the show or mcdonalds, Easy, going entertainment. Its not michelin star dining like a Chapelle etc. But Mcdonalds gets paid and so does Joe.
So many people in this comment thread sucking Joe off like mad crazy. Look... Joe's great. *The Best* we'll see in a _veeerry loooong_ time. But all that hard work and energy he spent for all those years could've went down the shitter, just like many other people out there who also worked their asses off. Luck *did* play a part in Joe's career. It wasn't the main factor, but it definitely played a key part.
I love Joey Diaz man. This guy has a solid heart I’m not looking at what he may have done in his past because I honestly don’t know. I think Joey would appreciate the fact he makes me laugh but more than that I appreciate the man for just being honest/raw. Not many people are like that he. Wish you good health and long life
