Reitero Joey Jordison tiene más show, no sólo tocaba de diez, era mucho más llamativo y la personalidad perfecta para Slipknot.

Simplemente JOEY es y será escencia principal en Slipknot, lamentablemente partió de este mundo pero su leyenda y legado perdurarán en sus fans y los recuerdos de la banda Jay es muy MUY bueno y como no si creció admirando al gran Joey

Jay es Bueno,pero seamos realistas y que si lo comparamos con JJ ( Joey Jordison ) queda pequeño a su lado,JJ tenía un balance perfecto entre estilo,personalidad,técnica,El tipo tocaba perfectamente aunque giraba 100 veces consecutivas su cabeza,eso lo hacía ver super cool,y encima no fallaba en ningún toque,el "Drum Sólo" de Joey Jordison es espectacular y sinceramente Jay weinberg lo hace bien pero slipknot ya no era slipknot desde el fallecimiento de Paul,se degrado aún más con el despido de Joey y menos es lo mismo ahora sin Cris Fehn,no tengo nada en contra de sus reemplazos,porque hacen bien su trabajo,pero seamos realistas que los verdaderos fan's de slipknot somos de la formación que fue hasta el álbum All Hope is Gone.

Yo creo que ambos son músicos y bateros de la puta madre loco, son tremendos los dos, exelentes, un ataque, un doble pedal y una digitación extraordinaria. Pero si me identifico más con Joey, por la época dorada de slipknot, nada más.

Es inviable compararlos Jay toca los acordes que compuso Joey con toda su alma es una simple sombra de lo que fue Joey, pero por lo menos esperemos que Jay lo haga cada vez mejor por que el al igual que nosotros es un gran fan de Joey

Please don’t misunderstand me when I say this… Joey is next level rock/metal god status type shit! However, I ❤️ what Jay does in a more relatable type of way. I can hear the other musical genres of influences when he plays. Joey is straight up fast paced hard metal. Jay is definitely metal too yet, mixed with seemingly everything else. Jay bashes the cymbals more which I love. If any of that makes any sense to y’all. I love them both equally yet, differently. Slipknot hit it out of the park twice when it comes to drummers imho!!!

Coincido con todos, Joey es mejor por todo: técnica, presencia y estilo. Jay no se queda atrás, es excelente con su velocidad y ejecución. Yo me quedo con una diferencia mayúscula: el tipo de pergaminos que usan. Joey - si escuchan - utilizaba unos más "duros", con sonidos más "metálicos" sobre todo en el redoble. Eso hace de su batería algo más perverso, agresivo. Jay es más estético, usa más platillos pero tiene un sonido más, digamos, suave. Descansa en Paz, Joey!

Joy tenia algo unico, tenia violencia y rapidez juntado con una tecnica hermosa. Ojo Jay es un gran baterista, tiene una tecnica espectacular y es un musico completo, viene de una familia de musicos y es muy tecnico, pero no es igual a Joy, creo que cada quien tiene lo suyo, Jay aun le queda mucho por avanzar y seguro sera uno de los mejores, pero joy nacio para ser el baterista de slipknot una leyenda inigualable RIP

The thing I can notice mostly is that Jay uses his head to carefully drum whereas jj doesn't even need to look where the drums are he had a natural instinct which enabled him to headbang even when he was drumming unlike Jay who can't headbang because he doesn't have a natural instinct

Joey is the master of drums but the thing is that we don't have many videos of Jay playing tough, fast songs because Slipknot have softened up a little bit with their music after Paul's death. I hope I get wrong with their upcoming album, because I believe Jay has much more to prove than slipknot is letting him.
