I’m sure they actually explained it and it got cut out. I think she was making fun of people on twitter who like refuse to be helpful (like which to be fair they don’t have to be)
Just for the record, they’re talking about words that have an origin/usage in queer communities. NOT “words every queer knows by heart.” There is a difference. So just because you’re gay and you didn’t know some of them doesn’t mean they picked bad words, it just means there are queer-origined words you don’t know.
So I don’t know these guys but I thought this was a game grumps video before opening it. The guy in the thumbnail looks so much like Arin Hanson and the woman with the curly hair made me think she was Dan for half a second
Never in my life have I seen such a rapid succession of overwhelming indications that someone is the token straight man in a group of theatre people. xD Love you Joey!!
As a 40 year old monogamous (not on principal, it's just rare my wife and I can stand anyone else) lesbian who doesn't watch Drag Race... I only learned kiki and tea about two years ago, probably less. U-hauling, kaikai, and circuit party are new to me. I had no clue we had names for those things.
I am a very straight edge, no drugs, no alcohol kind of girl. So i always assumed the song "Rush" was about energy drinks and drinking them to keep going at clubs. So finding out that it's about drugs, VCR cleaners at that, was baffling. I love the queer community so much because who tf even realised you could inhale VCR cleaner and not fucking die, let alone use it for sex.
No worries, these are just terms that are popular among the LGBT+ community. You don’t have to be queer to get these words, but you would need to be up-to-date on a lot of queer culture, which many queer people aren’t.
