My dad used to talk about him and got to go back stage and hang out after the concert John remembered him even though it had been 20 to 30 years when they knew eachother in high school

Yes you are so right on that, in my opinion country music went in the shutter in 1981, there's just a few exceptions, like,Dwight, Sawyer brown , maybe a couple others, today's country has no creativity of any kind, lyrically, vocally and musically

That’s one of those songs that you just love the first time you hear it, and let’s face it, John has the perfect voice to pull it off and make it a classic because nobody sounds like this guy. You may not know the song but you damn sure know who’s singing it. I love to listen to this guy and own lots of his music including his last album released which is very good!

I saw him at the clay co. fair, sittin on the front row, he is a wonderful singer...and a nice man...I was running late, and walking in it felt like everybody was watching me ..he noticed that and looked down at me and smiled and said 'Well we can get started now, everybody here". He turn an embarrassing moment into a great memory. Thank you.

I remember this song playing constantly in a bar, behind the Daisy Hotel.... in Vegas in the late 80s. Totally brings back memories of my old drunk days. Jesus has since been cleaning me up. 12 years sober.

Wow, What an awesome amazing singer. I would love to see John Anderson make a comeback with a number one CD of all time. He deserves it more then anyone I know. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform before he hit the charts, At a nightclub in Florida. I knew he would someday make it. A few months later I walking though a Sears store in Volusia county Florida. There was wall full of Tv's playing..John Anderson was on every tv. Singing An Old Junk Of Cole. Wow, I was right I thought. He made it. God Bless You My Friend. The rest is history. God Bless John Anderson.

My favorite John Anderson tune! I saw him perform twice. The second time, about 26 years ago, I was able to meet John & speak to him! He was very nice & easy to talk to! Just a regular guy! Miranda James opened for him. She was a sweetheart, & was nice enough to pose with my cousin for a photo! If I recall, I think she gave him a kiss on the cheek! I had a great time that night! I love the music! Today's stuff is a lot of junk! Bring on country from the 80s, & beyond!
