@spwb2k
I'm a GenXer raised on Belushi humor/Blues Brothers and didn't know he could play drums makes total sense thank you.

R.I.P John and Stiv

Sonic Reducer. What a tune.
@fukhue8226
I guarantee this was one of John's most alive moments. There's nothing like playing heart pumping music with good friends.
@billydeewilliams9104
John got Fear on SNL while he was there...
@whatdothlife4660
My boy tapping the hi-hat with his foot while playing punk rock. Beastly
@stampscapes
Interesting. I remember watching a mini doc on the Blues Brothers and one of those guys in the band talking about John's singing and mentioning that he had heard John used to play drums.
@Kreln1221
Damn... He was really nailin' the groove to the stage... Hell yeah!!!
@Graterstuuf
This is one of the greatest videos of John I’ve seen.
@MarkCharlesLamendola
I played this gig!
@Bustergf
I came to that point where i realized the line...the threshold you want to cross and , fortunately i didn't , is death.. fortunately i stopped trying to find that 22 years ago.. John Belushi RIP
@JeffTullock-yx1hd
I saw this on his biography. John is high out of his mind killing it. The guy could do everything great.
@ST-xg3gy
I played CBGBs in 95. Belushi sounds great.
@kevinbrooks1104
I miss John , he literally could do anything he put his mind to shout up to john. I wonder if he knew , how much he was loved.

The power of believing in yourself and having a healthy ego
@77justluigi
I love the dead boys and the fact that John drummed for them and being a punk himself is the greatest
@nankypooh655
People forgot this actually happened!
@WellenDowd
I lived 6 doors down from the Belushi’s. (Wheaton IL.) When John was around 11, Wes Craven lived kitty corner from the Belushi’s. He was living off campus at Wheaton College. Wes was bed ridden and couldn’t walk for a bit while in college. Bored, he began to write. From our houses, Wes lived at the first house on the right. Coming from the other direction he lived at “The Last House on the Left” Wes’s first movie, a 1972 cult classic. He also created the character, Freddy Krueger. The street the Belushi’s and I lived on is Elm Street. Coincidence🤔
