@@mirkopisciotta4573Javier never betrayed Arthur because Javier was only loyal to dutch and the gang and Arthur went against him, you can say dutch betrayed Arthur and the morals of the gang but Javier was always loyal to dutch
Javier was neutral in the end of rdr2 he wasn’t never against John that’s why he just let him live instead of killing him (these replies are wild💀,keep ‘em comin)
@@Zy444Wrong he was with Dutch when they left John to die after he got shot off the train, also if you carefully watch the cutscene again, Javier does point his gun at John and Arthur once the pinkertons show up
@@TheAbbeyoftheEveryman ok that was a quick moment it’s not like he tried to shoot John when given chance or talk badly about him within his final moments unlike bill did
Honestly i think Javier was just scared. He didnt really want to be with Dutch but Micah's words manipulated Dutch and then Dutch manipulated Javier. Javier got brainwashed
Bill was with Arthur when John was shot off, he is surprised when John turns back up. You could argue Bill was betrayed by John although I'm not sure I'd go that far.
John was too focused on revenge. If you ask me it’s sadies fault because if John hadn’t gone after Micah he wouldn’t be so focused on revenge and he would’ve lived to be old like Arthur said and he would watch his grandkids run around
No it isn’t. It’s John’s fault. It was ultimately John’s choice to go against Arthur’s wish and hunt Micah. Don’t blame this on Sadie when it was always John’s choice.
What are you talking about? The only John hunts down his former gang members in the first game is because some corrupt government workers are holding his family hostage til he finds the members.
@@channel45853 yeah and if john didn't kill micah, fhe government would force micah instead of john, agent ross found micahs dead body and was disappointed for a reason.
Imma be real Javier never did anything bad I judge him for. When Javier joined Dutch he didn't see what happened and thaugth they betrayed Dutch. When he realised they didn't he left. When they chase you on horse Javier already left. He never pointed the gun at them as his actor said. "I would never point my gun at my brother's" Javier did a mistake he didn't know and in my eyes he never betrayed them.
The first red dead redemption was something else, I remember when it got released. Me and my friends would always talk about it nonstop in school. And when undead nightmare came out, That’s all we played for months because it was so good and it was something new. Ill never forget the memories red dead redemption has made for me
Javier actually wanted to team up with John and Arthur in RDR2, but he couldn't because of the events in RDR1. So, in the scene when they all are aiming guns at each other, Javier aimed his guns upwards.
It’s crazy to me that Javier is voiced by the same guy. What an unbelievable job he did molding Javier into such a deep character the second time around.
Bunch of stuff about Javier: Javier's actor desperately wanted the character to side with John, Charles, Sadie, Uncle and Arthur at the end, however because of the events of RDR1 he wasn't able to make it happen. Javier is one of only three characters who stopped to check on Lenny when he is shot, the other two being Charles and Arthur. We see in the first mission on Guarma that he'd rather sacrifice himself to save the rest of the gang, showing he had compassion for them all. Javier's fate is sort of unknown, you can either kill him or turn him in, where if you turn him in it's questionable if they lock him up or have him hung. Overall, Javier is supposed to be in a somewhat middle ground between both sides, he wanders over behind Dutch, however he doesn't necessarily fight with Dutch, and reflects on the decision to ride with him negatively.
I started playing rdr1 after rdr2. Seeing the old gang after seeing their origins how they used to be just adds a whole new layer of depression over everything
John no traicionó a Javier, Javier traicionó a John, ya que se puso del lado de dutch, por más que no les haya apuntado con su arma eligió el otro bando.
Man how I’m finishing RDR2 for the last time in a while played it twice when it first came out and now twice again this last 4th time highest full honor I can’t wait to open up my still in plastics RDR 1 once I’m done with 2 again and play RDR again since the last time when I was a kid like middle school or elementary crazy how this always hits you see that clip from rdr2 how he says he got him for life
If i well know the capture of Javier Escuella is very simillar to the final capture of Augustine Chacon. Betrayed by friends and hanged, at least he had some of the most badass last words i've have ever seen. In his grave it is wrote "He lived life without fear, he faced death without fear. Hombre muy Bravo (Very brave man)".
When you think about it when dutch left dutch he ordered the gang not to go after john in the train job, javier was just following orders and he was alone and went crazy after 1899
I recently replayed RDR 1 on the xenia emulator, before that I played it in 2012 on PS3 as a kid, after part 2 I understood many points that I had not understood before in the first.
I respect Rockstar's writers for so much attention to characters they put in to. Even if they had no idea about a sequel/prequel, they still cared enough about telling an amazing and yet relatable stories despite what it is you've been through in life. Sorry for getting too honest but tbh, when rdr1 came out I was 9 yrs old in a mixed relationship with my step-dad. Just John by himself stuck with me enough to get a better understanding of where my step-dad was coming from. Isn't a man of virtue 100% but was still wise enough to know deep down things still had a moral value despite the lack of acknowledgment. I guess what im saying is, despite what John told Javier in rdr2, even when we believe what we say, it is based off of how we feel deep down in the "spirit" or whatever you want to call it. But even then, eventually, no matter how long in life it takes us; we eventually come to realize where we went wrong. But it is also what you do after such realization that also shows just who you are deep down. Despite them being genuine brothers, John subconsciously knew there was way to right his wrongs, and did everything he could to stick right by what he genuinely loved. Despite all that he did during riding with Dutch, even since the start you can tell he has deeper understanding of the importance in letting life live. He may not have the words to describe it. But we all feel the same no matter the circumstance
"For life," yet 12 years later John does the opposite of save Javier. Also reminds me in the beginning when John said "Bill, they want to kill us all, I'm here to try to save you."
