@@Moleskineman In my opinion, there were more chemistry between Birchall and Barker than Birchall and Bomba. John Shannon and Michael were musically unbeatable :)
I'm followin these guys for a next week month up the east coast, going alone bc none if my friends give good music a chance, it's going to be fucking epic, gunna get funky EVERY night
OMG John Butler is fucking amazing, John Butler Trio was one of best things i discorvered when i was in Austalia, I havent heard anything but them since i got home, i'd travel back to AU just to see them live XD
go see him in person and he'll change not only your opinion of him but possibly your life...his lyrics if you listen to them are extrodinary...i know that's my opinion but i've seen him in person 4 times now and he's by far the best i've heard
Greatest Aussie musician ever.. And yeah it is a 5 string, pretty sure its a stingray. But i beleive it is strung to a half an octave above the usual, Keep it up mate come visit us in broome again, i missed u ter other day =[
I don't like this arguing over who's the "best" guitarist in the world. Yes, John Butler is amazing, and he makes great music that reaches audiences all over the world. Jimi was revolutionary, and also an amazing guitarist. But music isn't a competition. As a musician myself, I can't stand this "who's the best" arguing. Just say that the music is great, that the musicians are talented and are good at doing what they love to do, and enjoy!
@Ibanez3789 I used to think the Edge is the best guitar player. Now I think he's friggin good at what he does. So is Butler, Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Satriani.. they're all among my favorites. Still, I don't consider any of them better then the other. So yes, I guess you're right, it's not a competition.
@beardown091 I have been to see him many times I loove his music but was just expressing an opinion about the simplicity of his lyrics- however fair doos and all points taken from above.
@Ibanez3789 although.. i would like to say, that John butler doesnt get enouhg recognition for his guitar skills, although i know he wouldnt care about that, he is all about the message he is trying to get across and stuff...
