I got him for $12 at Ollies in Boardman OH few weeks ago along with Roman Reigns from the same wave. For that price had to grab them for sure! This represents the John Cena I enjoyed back in the day as Dr. Of Thugonomics Cena. I'm a huge Orton fan but I'll admit this Cena figure is probably my favorite of Cena. I also got the basic series reissued Top Picks 2022 Orton and Cena figures with the painted on tee shirt detail at Marcs for $8.99 a piece great buy as well! Believe these represented them from 2015-17 ish. Era of WWE. The Cena has the longer hair style new head mold.

I have been collecting movie figures and statues for over a decade now but the pieces I have picked up are few and far between as they are expensive, specifically the statues. Last year I picked up #2 & #3 of my replica belt collection but only recently started collecting WWE figures again, John Cena and Rey Mysterio from this line are #5 & #6 of my Elite collection.
Received this figure today and I have to say I’m more than pleasantly surprised! This may be my favourite Cena figure so far! Only gripe I have is that you can’t put the Word Life knucks on the second pair of hands. Other than that, the figure is practically perfect!
They are prob using the ultimate shorts mold now for elite cena. I remember in one interview forgot who said it from the mattel guys that they will re-use ultimate molds of they can. I know they use the moveable Warrior tassels so I guess they will cont to use more ultimate parts in elites.
