You can tell the passion and skill of the dev team here. Charlie was able to get countless hour of gameplay in. Very rude of them to show off and overshadow Elden Ring like that.
Iliked the first one better, but the second is still easily better than anything out right now. I guess maybe my expectations were just unrealistically high after the first one blew my mind like that. It was lightning in a bottle honestly.
In all seriousness I kinda feel bad for the dev, he clearly actually cares about what he's making and he proudly displays positive Steam reviews on his site, most of which are meme reviews (One literally is "It's a game" and the rest are saying the game exorcised them of demons or brought them to Jesus). That, alongside the poor english where there even is any (His first game has no english support) leads me to believe he doesn't know the language and is likely oblivious to his meme status. Not trying to say we should sugarcoat things because of that though.
Props to the devs, I just watched the video on the first one and this ones an improvement overall, the dev needs to work on the combat but its actually pretty cool seeing how its improved
What a turn of events. I never thought the day would come where John Christian 2 would be out. It's more surprising than if half life got a 3er session.
I'm very happy that the music in this game is just a sound effect in the enviroment so the music moves around you and if you walk 3 feet away its silence

I went to the steam page and it was made by a guy named “Carlos Martins”. Can’t tell you what Carlos’s story is or if he’s a super model, but whoever he is; he’s a gift from God GOD DAMN IT
You know, I think what I like most about this game is that is a clear improvement from the last one. It still isn't perfect, but the movement and combat felt a lot more fluid. I sure as heavens can't wait for Jon Christian 3.
