As Pariah (this Constantine) he has watched the end of many worlds for 1000 years. Of course he gain powers to try to save the world but fail and yes he is immortal and can age till his punishment is over.

@@O.R.2484 Yeah, there is a movie set in the last universe called City of Demons. There's also a live action show, with the same actor (kinda implied to be the same Constantine). He also features heavily throughout the last movie universe, especially in the Justice League Dark movies.

The 3 Part Crisis on Infinite Earths movies are still a continuation of the same John Constantine from the DCAU that ran from 2013-2020. It's honestly pretty incredible. Also read more Spider-Man comics or look up more of history. It's an ongoing joke in the comic book community that Spider-man is basically trauma %orn.

@ranulphshieldwield7631 what's the punishment? I understand Constantine's punishment but not the Flash's punishment. Constantine messed with the flow of time and the multiverse as explained in that short movie and now is forced to watch the death of all universes and never able to die. (It's unclear if who's causing this... the universe?) However, the Flash, it is more complicated. He's done Flashpoints before and saw the consequences and the world nearly ending. However, it is unclear what Constantine meant when he said, "he caused it" after seeing into the Flash's mind and seeing the flashpoint in Justice League Dark: Apocalypse. Also, it is unclear what the Flash changed after the new flashpoint since this seems to be happening in multiple dimensions and him sharing his mind.
