​@@froggy3496nah, he just uses different strategies, not just one. I think he sees the benefit in different types of teaching and learning methodologies, so he utilizes all of them to prepare his athletes.

Him and many coaches have done it for years. My coach and i do it for the last 20 years, we call it situational drills. Its now just becoming popular as people start breaking stuff down into systems. The better you get at jiu jitsu the simpler the concepts get.

No, he has only spoken well of Eddie Cummings. And if you are referencing that Cummings came up with the leg lock series that John uses, you are wrong. Watch the most recent interview with Gunnar Nelson and Craig Jones. Gunnar talks about a group of guys playing with strictly leg locks in the blue basement before Eddie even showed up there. There is only one person claiming that John stole those ideas and that is Eddie.
