I really enjoyed this interview, mostly because it didn’t feel like it revolved around his dad. In some of his interviews, you can tell he tries to stay away from talking about his dad so much, and more so pushes his mom and her talents. Good job to Jimmy for making sure it was about John David and his movie!

Adam Pares There's a scene in Glory where Denzels' character lets everyone know he was not going to carry the flag. Wonder how Denzel feels about that scene in lieu of Black athletes kneeling for the white folks national anthem? I say play The Negro National Anthem and let the Black athletes stand for their own national anthem if you want to truly obtain equality.

So this video’s two years old, just got finished watching Tenet and I just now find out this is Denzel's son. Seen plenty reviews of his past and recent movies and im glad nobody brings that up cause he's so great on his own, i actually kind of regret finding out now because i cant unsee it lol

After I went through puberty, I would answer the phone sometimes and people would think that I was my dad. I hear 45 year old my dad in my voice sometimes now.
Same when I started listening carefully after finding out he is Denzels son I heard it. He sounds and speaks just like his dad did during his younger days from some of his really early films.

No matter how many interviews or episodes of Ballers I watch, I still trip out how much he sounds like Denzel. His dad must be proud, his son is so talented and humble!
