JOHN DEERE 2730 Combination Ripper

We run a johndeere 2730 as well but ours is 11 shanks at 22 feet wide. We pull ours with a case 580 afs connect quadtrac. The 2730 is a great heavy tillage tool they work extremely well on corn stalks. We actually switched from a 9rx to quadtracs this fall . We found the case has a better transmission and more pulling power for our operation. We bought a 500 afs connect rowtrac quadtrac as well . We will plant with the rowtrac and do our tillage with the 580 . Its nice to see some Michigan farming on the channel. I farm in southern Michigan and northern Ohio. This is my settup on Farming Simulator 2019 along with the 2680 High Performance Disk.

Why are the second set of disc aren't always touching the ground?? Still great to watch!!

Were there rocks in the field? Can't see any but at times you could hear them, or at least it sounded like rocks hitting the firming roller.

If it does the job well and better than other equipment, then it’s certainly worth the expense.

You rattled off the the price of the Ripper which I thought was expensive. Then you mentioned the additional price for the rolling baskets. Holy buckets, that sure sounds really pricy. The 9620 should be going 9 to 10 MPH at that price. Just me speaking. Great video...thanks.

It’s cool how many jobs it accomplishes at once but taht price tag for one implement seems wildly expensive. I’m not taht knowledgeable on tillage stuff. Is that actually a reasonable figure compared to other brands?
