John Deere 318 322 316 Starter fix. Add on relay kit 

General comment ... Its great that others with the low voltage to starter issues such as this take the time and effort to advise ones such as myself. Im sure this will take care of my issue. I haven't made it a priority bc my 318 woll only be used for snow removal, and here in Ohio wer're still in the 80s, so not quite there yet. .... Its coming tho! Lol Im wondering how many like myself wentvto the expense and work to replace the starter only to find low voltage to it, and that a $15 upgrade will fix. (Probably hundreds!) Anyway, thank you again for posting.

Thanks so much for this video. I have a 92 318 that a new starter didnt fix .. after digging deeper, there wasnt enough voltage to the starter. The symptoms were identical to yours tho. I was thinking time delay module prblms, and I wasnt keen in a $200 fix. Im thinking this will remedy for a whole lot less. Thnx again!

Just got an early model 318, '85 I believe, and planned on doing this upgrade. This video came in handy on preparing for the installation. Thank you. Also, really cool thumbnail.

Have 1998 John Deere gator 6x4 has Kawasaki engine fd620d just put brand new starter on and it’s just clicking same as last engine have a new relay on the way tryin to figure this out as well

Great video… I have a 318 and the starter solenoid is on the opposite side of the tractor than the starter…. Can this kit still be installed on my unit? Thanks
