A revolution in land management for our ranch!! ...and a cool old crawler to play with! I bought an old 1956-58 John Deere 420 Crawler. It needed a bit of work but I'm good with that. It's nice to have a vehicle that I can actually turn a wrench on.

Great idea. Poison oak and blackberries are such a pain to remove by hand. Hope you and the fam are safe from these fires. We are packed, level 1 here in Douglas County.

We are surviving so far. It's the worse I've ever seen it!! Crazy times! You're in Douglas County now, eh?

@@gotrocksinhead Hey Dan sorry for the late reply. Yes I’ve been here in Douglas County a few years now. We survived the fires so far too. Thank God. The nearest fire to us is the Archie creek fire, but we never had to evacuate. Crazy indeed. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Unfortunately, I won't be taking it in the woods till fire season is over. Tis a bit too dry to use now.

Looks like you got a pretty nice one! I have a 57 420c. Take good care of her! Shes worth her weight in gold! The dozer I mean. lol

It's taken a lot to get it where it's at but it's saved a boatload of work around the property.

I think you will love playing with your new toy! But... I am sure you will find the same fatal flaw I did with mine, I wish the blade could be swiveled side to side with an angle. It would make it SO much more useful!

Aw, you have a good wife! We have a little over 30 acres. Half timber and half fields.
