Jon, seems like you've done this job at least once before! These are invaluable videos if someone is working on this model tractor. I don't have any green machines so it was the Bundy Bears channel helped me a lot when I redid the trans and clutch on my antique heirloom Ferguson.

Would you happen to know what number shims to use on a 4230? I’ve got the tool but the manual is missing and I have no idea what shim numbers to use

Do you know of any other way to adjust the perma clutch without the special tool JD78A?, I need to adjust mine (replaced discs), no JD dealer within 300 miles.
