So a few years ago I had a noise coming from the pto on the 210 similar to what I am hearing now, so immediately I get the tractor into the workshop and start dismantling. In the video we will take a look in the back end and see what may or may not be wrong.... I was pleasantly surprised!

Brilliant video, so interesting to watch maybe those bearings were the problem. I was surprised that some were Made in Japan, but there you go . Looking forward too your next video. 👍👍

Thank you 👌 that was my thought aswell because like I said, last time I had the back end apart apart on this one I think it was a 8-9k bill 🙄 I think alot of the cost was setting it up again but if its not done right I'll be back to square one so 🤷‍♂️ all worked out alright tho!

This is a normal fit! I have taken apart dozens of these, even new/almost new ones, them bearing always fits loose on the shafts and in the housing. They wil run forever with it
@seggonscontractors588
@seggonscontractors588 5 месяцев назад
Good! Otherwise, I'd have to take the whole thing apart again! 😂 the Tech boys at my local John Deere dealer rebuilt it for me, so it must have all specd up fine!

@joranbrouwer2157 We did put all new bearings a seals in while we were in there, but they couldn't see anything wrong 🤷‍♂️ must have just been a rumbley bearing!
@joranbrouwer2157
@joranbrouwer2157 5 месяцев назад
Yea it must be, sometimes i see when a customer has had a pto shaft on there that was to long, the bearing gets beaten up. Thats about it

@@joranbrouwer2157 I think what I'll do is make sure all my machines PTO shafts are moving freely to take pressure off the PTO bearings!

Did the dealer mention anything about the bearing races spinning on the shaft and in the bridge housing? I’ve recently replaced the mfd bearings on a case/mccormick and was very surprised to find the bearing races were a ‘loose’ fit in the housing, when I questioned it I was told it was normal and to install with loctite bearing fit compound.
@seggonscontractors588
@seggonscontractors588 6 месяцев назад
Nope, they didn't say anything about the bearing bridge. They just replaced all the bearings and seals. My thinking is maybe when the different metals expand in heat or something? I don't know! All I know is it works now 😊

Overalls on and a big piece of cardboard underneath the backend of the tractor would of saved a lot of dirty clothes/jeans believe me from experience as I’ve been there and done that job before.

Don't think you've put a foot wrong on that job👌caught it in time before them bearings broke up and damaged the cogs 👍take it Milwaukee didn't play ball, probably more chance of a scaffolding gang sponsoring you and supplying different different lengths of pipe. 🤷‍♂️👍😂

Well, I learnt the hard way the first time! 🙄😂 noo, I'm still far too small of a channel for them to notice me! I will have to keep breaking stuff and using their tools! Maybe one day! 🤔🤔😊

This is why Belarus tractors are indestructible and very cheap and easy to maintain
@seggonscontractors588

Well, that is true, the less things to go wrong, the better, but sometimes creature comforts make a difference during a long day's work, I like the basic tractors as much as the next man but not also not finishing the day feeling like I've been in a boxing match if you understand what I mean 🤔😂

@bekabeka71 Absolutely, we all have to start somewhere, I started off mowing people lawns with dad's old ride on lawn mower, and worked me way up, I'm lucky I've had the help I've got but it's still been long hours and hard work, it still is until the big one is paid for! 🙄😂 but everyone will get where they want to be eventually. I'm usually reluctant to watch videos from across the pond because they always do stuff half donkey backwards and or I have translate the terminology, but I did anyways and my assumptions was right. Not only is this not the run of the mill tractor in redneck rural America at 200+hp, but you say the repair cost was about "$1,400.00 quid" really....................
