Basically a bottom plow when you think about how big the blades are. Heck of a implement. When ripping for corn you will see the depth of that disk on the ripper shanks.
We have 620 rx wide stance on 36" belts it pulls a 11 shank cih 870 ripper. In our heavy southern Minnesota ground it makes it work. We also had a 520 rx but traded that for a 9rx590 which we should have by spring. Because we needed another tractor for fall tillage our dealer brought us out a 9r640 on tires. We used that on our anhydrous rig. The guy that ran it didnt really like it because it rode rougher. I didn't get to run that tractor when we finished ripping with it. We switched switched to see if it pulled the ripper any different or better. Guess there wasnt a lot of difference in power just the ride.
Hey there Jason, I hope this finds you well? 🙏 That's a SWEET Tractor, and I was glad they put a JD engine in it! I can't wait for the ALL NEW 10RX with the new JD18 Engine which will offer virtually unlimited power, with ratings from 700HP all the way up to 900HP, and all of that power is made without DEF !! I hope you have a good one! 👍 "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇸
@@Beyonder8335currently the ruling is anything over 749 HP doesn’t require DEF after treatment. I am sure everyone is scratching their heads wondering why CNH would put out a 715 hp machine. It will not be the largest articulated tractor for long.
How big are the discounts on the listprice in the USA? In Sweden we have around a quarter discount. But the listprice on a 9RX940 in Sweden are aruond 100000 dollars lower.
Matt is at the farm. He does not prefer to run the big tillage equipment. He runs a 9R 440 in tillage. Here is a video of Matt operating the 9R 440 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VLVZf7sOhok.htmlsi=2oxgzjjDOZk419d- My most recent video with Matt was during wheat harvest in an hour long live stream from an X9 combine at ru-vid.comEU3SGunmX1M?si=EoPY_RnGJavcjb_M
Hi Hope You Are Well!! Awesome Video Buddy!! I have a Question For You Maby You Know on This John Deere I searchinga Model n Scale 1/64 Maby You can Help My!! ManyGreetings Sebi!!
Hi Jason, I don't think either of those tractors you own would be able to pull that disc harrow without a struggle. Keep up with these good videos I'm sure you'll be able to afford either this JD or the new 715 case. Kevin Fox UK Essex.
30 inch blades ???? 😂, you could take them off and supply the neighborhood kids with snow saucers for going down the hills in winter. Them are some big discs. Im still old school but realize that bigger is better when the fields are hundreds or thousands of acres big.
You need to look at how much groth is in the field just to be harvest and do you ever show anything but John Deere or do you just love John Deere that mut
What a waste of horsepower and fuel. You have and extra drop box to lower power line to 2 differentials. Then a gear box at each corner to raise the power line to the height of the crankshaft of the engine. You loose 5% or more for each gear set transmitting engine HP. A twin track tractor has a trans, and a diff, and only 2 final drives. To add insult to injury is the final drives on this Deere are built with straight cut gears, cheap to make. You can literally hear one of these rolling gearboxes a mile away on the road. JD just has to copy anything anyone else is selling. It is what they do.
@@debi5292 wet sloppy or frozen conditions two tracks don't turn the best or stay pulling straight. I have a quad and two tracks. Both have their place.
