This is the Pontifical Low Requiem Mass said for the repose of the soul of the late John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States of America, celebrated on November the 25th 1963.
Mass was said at the Cathedral of St. Matthew in Washington D.C. The Archbishop of Boston, His Eminence, Cardinal Richard Cushing, a family friend of the Kennedy's, was the presiding minister. This Mass has been noted to be the worst televised Mass ever as it shows Cardinal Cushing's infamous barking of the Low Mass and extreme laziness during the whole ceremony. Even during the final commendation at the church and the cemetery, which he chose to say in the vernacular.
