He asks John "are you a sports fan?" -- this after Patrick tells how he was at a Howard Stern event and was told John wants to meet you and they met and John asked if Patrick would take a photo with him and John told him that he listened Patrick's radio show all the time.
John and me are Celtic cousins and I am happy to tell music-loving people about this. I have loved CCR music from the very first moment I heard it played on the radio way back when I was at 6-year-old boy and will to the very last day of my life on this earth. Give me CCR, John Fogerty, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, The Doors, Bob Dylan & Van Morrison music and I feel like a very rich man
James I know this is a rather late response but just wanted to say I saw Rory and Lizzy many times in the 70s and 80s and he/they were great. Phil was a tremendous front man and Rory was an amazing guitarist. So sad Rory and Phil are long gone. Finally saw John 10 years ago and since then courtesy of utube have caught up with some of his more recent concerts. He is still up there with the very best. Hope he comes back to the UK soon.
I loved CCR, and their music was very popular starting when I was roughly age 12. It's funny, when he asked John if he was touchy about others touching his guitar. I kind of know what he means. I have several I wouldn't care less if anyone played them, but I do have 3 that I am a bit touchy with. The first one I bought, a black Epiphone Les Paul. Then my emerald green Les Paul, (My favorite color), and lastly the guitar I inherited, from my father. That one, I am probably the most touchy about. I would bet there are many others out there that have a very personal attachment to one or more of their guitars for some personal or unusual personal reason. If you are out there let us know.
Another Bay Area product. We are blessed with so much talent. At least this numbnut Patrick asked a few good questions , but he is out of his league, pun intended.
