Former NHL Goaltender and D&D Playoff Post Game Host John Garrett joined the guys to recap the Canucks victory last night, if he would play Thatcher Demko and more.
silovs and Pickard will play the remainder of the series. Even if Demko is fully good to go, you don't change anything right now. Win or lose, Silovs is your man atm.
If game 6 goes bad for Silovs and Demko is healthy then I could see Thatcher play. Also if Demko is ready to go at all he should be the backup over DeSmith with Silovs in net. If the Nucks lose game 6 but Silovs is fine then he gets game 7. Silovs deserves to play til he falters really. If they close out EDM, im still playing Silovs game 1 of WCF with Demko as the backup.
@@JakobKozey I’m not denying he isn’t as good a goalie. I’m just saying, a winning goalie in a playoff run isnt necessarily the better goalie. And silvos is on a winning run. Even give him first 2 games next series if we advance. See if he can keep the mo
Always listen to what Gentleman John has to say. Good or bad. He calls it how he sees it. 👀 👏😄👌😅👍😄 P S. Maybe itwas because of all the yelling, I didn't know Petey had heeled it off the post to Miller. And I was the only one in the room 😂 PPS At least John still has hair 😃
I think it's Silovs series, he's earned it. Worth that being said, you gotta go back to your vezina caliber goalie game 1 next round.. assuming they make it
They probably would call it no goal cause it looked like his skate left the ice a bit. When that happens, it's consider a kicking motion. So, it was really lucky for the puck to hit the post and come out right to Miller to put in the net.
Probably. Which would have been especially painful after that nashville goal that was kicked in and they decided it was a good goal. But if Vancouver does it nah no goal.
I haven't seen a slow motion from the opposite angle. I actually wonder if Bouchard deflected it, albeit he does because Petey moves Bouchard's right skate on the puck. If it deflected off Petterson, I'd assume the goal would be called back.
The Oilers may have more talent overall than the Canucks, but the Canucks have shown throughout the series that they can patiently grind it out, wear you down, and then pot that winning goal. I think if they make it to the Conference final, Petey still needs to wake up and you need to have at least two lines that can consistently score, but I do believe they can take down the Oilers in game six and book a date with the Stars to fight for the berth to be in the finals.
AT LEAST as egregious as the accidental hit to McDavid, and caused MORE damage too! A complete f'ing joke, that Kane played Gm 5. Thanks NHL, for consistency, anyway... consistency in being the butt of jokes between the 'big four' pro sports leagues.
This goes way back before some these so-called experts think they know. Haha..........And I believe many of the people never were pro hockey players and live their dreams in their fantasy world. Not Final Fantasy rather amateur fantasy. Troll me I don't give a shit.
As good as Lindholm is, I don’t think the Canucks can or should resign him. Next season Canucks slated to have Miller-Pettersson-Suter down the middle. Nucks need a couple scoring wingers.
Why is it that no one mentions how pathetic Ian Cole was? Cole was responsible for many Oilers goals! Many failed clearing attempts & always the same side, never takes the player who scores, goals he deflects in, stupid penalties, no hockey sense, can't make plays, & can't shoot the puck at the point & because of his failed clearing attempt(s) caused Miller to take a penalty only to have McDavid score only because Cole forgot to take him...etc. He just dumps the puck... always! I truly believe if it wasn't for Ian Cole, we would've won the 2nd rd already. Everyone on X thinks Ian Cole is on the Edmonton payroll, or he bet against his own team! That is how bad of a defenseman he is!
Ugh you’ve probably never played defence in your life. Leave him alone, he had a few bad bounces. Blame the lazy wingers who don’t contribute a thing and never seem to get blamed for a loss. You need d-men like Cole and there’s a reason Tocchet puts him out when they’re killing a penalty, defending a lead, last 3 mins, etc. So glad Tocchet’s the coach and not dumdums like this guy
