Its pretty common knowledge that Palmer was taken out by the Kinahans. He was grassing his co-defendants in a trial that was only weeks away in Spain. Himself and his right hand man Richard Cashman, who also happens to be one of Christy Kinahans best friends, were up for massive real-estate fraud in Tenerife. If Palmer turned then Cashman was looking at 15 and intricate details for Kinahan's money cleaning operations would have been laid bare. Without co-operation, Cashman got 2 years and did less than a year. Cashman was the only person questioned by cops on Palmers murder. Cops have admitted that two of the Kinahans top hit men were in the vicinity of Palmers in the weeks leading to the murder. Both of them are doing time now - one of them for killing Gary Hutch that started the Kinahan/Hutch feud and the other for planning a hit on Gary's best friend, Mago. All this is common knowledge and probably available on the net so don't think I'm touting or talking out of school :)

I know a lot of villains have sense of humour like Mickey McAvoy girlfriend / wife Kathy when she was brought a nice house in Kent called her two gaurd dogs Brinks and Matt. But Kenny Noye was a on another level and i don't believe that he would have had the song Goldfinger playing when you rang his doorbell or the Guinness Book of Record for 1984 with the World's largest Armed Robbery that the Police say he had circled with a pencil. Kenny Noye was too clever to blatantly show out by putting little jokes like that..

Yes I agree Samson, Palmer seemed to have his fingers in all kids of pies and allegedly, in his younger days was believed to be doing some serious work with his own hands, if you know what I mean.
Maybe JP had control files on powerful people and the minute he lost them he was on borrowed time. As for KN no way was there previous with C , I think his pride and temper got the better of him. The girl with C, her dad was quite well known but not in that league. I think the doorbell thing don.t ring true, unless you get passed the gates and the dogs you wouldn't get near his front door.
