It was really awful how Palmer took all those savings of Working class people in that timeshare scam , some were really devastated by what he had done , when they tried to enquire about their money they were met with threats of violence and bullying , this was money people had worked hard for , though I was a petty criminal and drug addict for decades this kind of shit [agianst working people ] really sickens me

I lived in Tenerife and my parents had a bar there in the early 2000s. Palmer was in prison, but Richie always treated my parents well, Mohamad was the one who ultimately conned them.
Mohamed started out as Palmer's head of Security and were friends, but they fell out and that's when Mohamad turned against him. Richie treated people well if they kept their nose clean, if they didn't then he could be a nasty piece of work.
I was a timeshare tout for Palmers firm, with Richie & Chris Penny for about 5 years in the 2000`s. even worked for Mohammed for a while, not through choice either if u get my drift lol. Crazy times, good money .. Palmer looked after his own tbf as long as you stayed loyal . Mo on other hand always had an air of fear and evil around him, he used to screw people for wages, fines and bully his grafters. I seen his security smash up a few people badly.
it's the brinks matt why the old school hated him. he was out there flying about in private jets when part of the brinks mat lot where in the nick, dead or skint. they believe he funded the time shares off the money from the brinks. also the law tried to make out he was a grass so that question mark was over him
I worked for palmer in Tenerife at Harley’s restaurant from 2001 all his henchmen were called clumpers they were big on the island and most of them seemed to be from Newcastle when they came in everyone was on edge and the all there food was v.I.p big big fellas…. Had a scarey incident with one of them
Funnily enough I was on one of the other island in 1998/99 on holiday and got offered a job as a clumper for £500 a week, I got told there was hardly ever any hassle but every so often we would have to stop trouble between different firms out there. I was recruited because I was a mma fighter from uk and when on holiday I’d always go to gyms and see if there was any sparring /training. Well I trained in a gym there and a huge roided fella wanted a roll about which I said ok too and few people watched us and I was all over the fella and only 70kg, it transpired he was one of main security out there and from that I got approached I turned down the offer as it was not a bit of me and I had a life in uk. That’s the second time I’ve ever heard /read that term “clumper”
he had a good few clumpers from lebanon etc, ruthless...and some mad ones like the clown, they terrorized everyone and every business....but towards the end lots of beef with new firms from world wide.

John got acquitted on the Brinks Mat charge because his mate Garth who got him involved with it said in court that, John didn’t know the gold he was melting was from the robbery, so that’s how he got a not guilty
Speak as you find Yammy but a good mate of mine was one of the people ripped off by his timeshare scams. Hard working bloke who thought everyone was as decent and honest as he is,yeah I know........but it hit him hard,not just the money but the fact he'd taken for a mug. When Palmer was shot I told him and let's just say he wasn't overly sad about it. What do you think about the police initially saying he'd had a heart attack? Kind of hard to miss 6 bullet wounds you'd think.

I did too from 1997-2000 in the North of Tenerife, I didn't sell timeshare, I worked in the nursery looking after the kids when couples came up to the resort.

Like the Essex boys, Palmer had crossed a line. The killings could only have taken place with the co-operation of the police. Despite being shot six times the police initially said that Palmer had suffered a cardiac arrest. Each case involved the Essex police who had officers on the payroll of Palmer & Essex boys.

98 we in Canarys cockney firm had some Wigan guy get youngsters party for month then fire them in with Es to take to Australia. They got nicked with record amount at that time, picking up from a post office. Gullibe types all that glitters is not Gold.
