I can't begin to imagine how fantastic you must feel receiving these 2 items from the Lennon estate plus the card from Yoko - I'm almost speechless, I too was a teenager when I first bought this album - a teen in 1970 - and I love it probably more now than then, it really is a brilliant album and alongside All Things Must Pass the two greatest solo albums.

I was almost as excited as you were when that lovely card fell out of the LP! How wonderful! I'm so glad a true fan with a heart and soul of the best music has been recognized and appreciated by the Lennon Estate. A wonderful album from John (and special yay to Klaus Voormann for his terrific bass playing!). This album was so far ahead of its time. Yoko's album pairs so well with this. I bought her reissue by Secretly Canadian a few years ago. Now I need to get John's reissue. I bought the hardcover Plastic Ono Band book earlier this year, and it really was a revelation. Thank you for sharing this great preview. 💙💙👍

Congratulations Joe ,i can see how happy you are ,this album came out the year i was born ,can't wait until i get this new release for myself.I can myself relate to a lot of songs on this album and also John Lennon as i lost both my parents at a early age.Been a fan of The Beatles and solo Beatles for 41 years now and hopefully for the next 41 plus years.Always look forward to your clips and to see your friends especially with you and Anthony always makes me smile.Keep up the good work and all the best.

Oh my Joe, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Your experience with listening to this album as a youth is just as mine was as a young girl and I would have said very much the same about it as you did here. When the card fell out and you showed it to us and then read it out loud, it actually made me cry. I was so touched by the fact that Yoko & Sean sent the card to you and by your reaction. As I said, absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait to see the LPs in person and listen to them when I receive my own copy (hopefully next month).
