Love him, his own experience is the Pistols to PIL a good example of what stealthin a good men personality and Anger Is An Energy astonishing and me both as he wrote on several levels how to get the msg crystal mate and fix the problem with the references and reality of honesty... No one in The 100 club 300 copies mine just as important with him as one of method anger in and surrounding thought on his heavily emotional damage he cries still over Sid... at least we have educational assistance into the my loveof vital signs and loathng of Herion this very good if not this small modest meeting Herion?? He's really lucky to have survived meningitis, many kids don't. I can understand his hatred of liars, if you have a blank mind you need the truth to get better you're so vulnerable.

VERY well said, Michelle...& the mortality rate back then, in the '60s & in his impoverished circumstances, was EVEN WORSE than it is now. I'd not actually thought of his dependence upon the truth, even more than most kids, due to his severe illness & resultant memory loss.

He waffles about there being no rules yet punk was full of them . He’s not remotely fit to comment or critique music , he achieved fuck all in his time . Music - visionary he was a scrap as Yoko Ono was . He’s a pompous git

After seeing him doing an interview on a chat show about John when he was asked about his meningitis, the effect that it had on his memory and it resonated with me. I had autoimmune encephalitis 8 or 9 years ago which affects the brain and the memory in a similar way so I could relate to what he said about trying to regain his memories. It’s not bloody easy and has profound effects on all ways of life, I’m going to have to find his book (it’s amongst my other books) and read it again.

As a lifelong fellow Gunner (Arsenal FC fan if you don't know) & devoted fan of John Lydon the man, I just want to HIGHLY recommend the following half-hour clip here on YT: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_SkUPM_T7FE.html which is the final 35 minutes of The Sex Pistols Tour of London (also on YT in full version), during which he drives around London upon the top of a double-decker bus, sharing his opinions re: how ghastly the modern architecture of London has become (including Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, where they moved to in 2006 from beautiful old Highbury, a stadium that he grew up nearby, in Finsbury Park) & how much the city has lost its former spirit, which is both highly entertaining & sad (because he's 100% right).

what a great genuine bloke, when i was in jail there was not a great selection of books and i ended up with Malcolm Mclarens autobiography and enjoyed it alot, he said that when they went to America he had to keep locking them on the bus to keep them from fucking up, he said they stopped at a diner, a cowboy who was in there with his wife and child after his wife and child had left came over to the table. he went up to sid and sneered,"sid vicious" and put out his cigarette on his own hand, he said sid didnt even look up at him, picked up a knife and slashed his own hand open and just carried on eating
