To all kids out there with any interest in interviewing people in any capacity: the reason this interviewer was able to elicit such thoughtful and deep answers from a guy who has no problem telling people they suck is he used open-ended questions. The 5Ws is all it takes, and the stories about John creating the music for this album from the sounds he was hearing and lyrics he was signing as he was caring for his dying wife are priceless.

John Lydon is one of my favourite rock stars and singer-songwriters and I am looking forward to seeing him perform in Lisbon next month.

Excellent interview. I saw PIL last weekend and they were incredible. The Pistols are one of my favourite bands of all times, and I never really got into PIL, but I've seen them twice now and they were amazing both times!!

John Lydon is one of those people that can run rings around any interviewer and the media don't like that. This is an intelligent man that cannot be goaded into saying what a producer may want him to say simply for a soundbite. The interviewer wasn't very good but lovely to listen to John. He is himself, what you hear is what you get.

Seeing Pil for the first time at the Forum end of september. Can't wait.

Was sat opposite John on a train from. Manchester to London the other week he sounds a nice guy was on his best behaviour no spiting or swearing at all .I was star struck a little ,did not bother him left him to read his book

He always comes across as genuine and I think that scares a lot of people as they're so used to artists putting up a front / fake character. Was saddened to hear about Nora but it's obvious her presence will be with him forever.

Remember seeing pil live early 80s, at Poole art's center, I was amazed at there sound it was incredible, when they went into religion i was blown away a little too stoned at the time, saying that it's up there with the best live concert ever

I absolutely love John lydon for his honesty and integrity and his morals you always know where you are with him what you see is what you get. He talks a lot of common sense and he comes across as genuine the love he has for his late wife Nora is so beautiful and he seems a bit lost without his wife and best friend....if it was up to me he would be called sir Johnny lydon God bless him

The only time I watched" I,m a celebrity get me out of here" was because Lydon was there.As a fan of him since my youth it was still great to see him realise it was shit and left .No bullshit attitude just gone.
