John MacArthur - Is this a horrible time to raise kids? 

If your raising your children to Love Jesus, there is never a horrible time to raise children! The more people who Love Jesus makes a better world!

There are so many children that have accepted cultural Christianity and refuse to hear that God calls us to repentance and to die to ourselves daily. I have children that grew up in church and went to a Christian school and now live much like the world. They refuse to hear that they should have fruit to show and that they should look much different than the world. Much of the problem is with my parenting as times were good and we thought we had forever so we were very relaxed about our Christianity. We now see time is extremely short, but our children in their 20s and 30s, don't understand the need to push the world to the side and to focus on God before it is too late. We continue to love and pray.

It's always a wonderful time to raise kids in US. As a parent though it is becoming quite a challenge with today's generation and technology to keep the kids on the path. I have a 21 and 13 year old boys, also have a almost 3 year old granddaughter. Each have been a blessing. Challenges come but kids are always a blessing. Chaklenges always present, just different challenges at different times.

Having children who are wholly dependant on u is a big responsibility and if u find yourself under the hooves of the 4 horsemen of Revelation, your troubles will be magnified.

Whichever way you raise your kid, and whichever environment you raise your kid, please know that your kid is predestined to heaven or hell before the foundation of the world. You should be a good parent of course but that won’t affect your kid’s destination. Therefore there’s no good or bad time for raising a kid.

Thank you for this message. America has had a form of godliness. You remove the secular laws governing morality then you can determine who loves God and who doesn’t . The clarity of wheat and tares is clear.

One can raise his or her children to be respectful of others, to be kind and considerate and to realize their intellectual potential at any time. This includes learning to think critically and rationally. For instance, notice how Christian conmen accumulate wealth by telling uneducated and gullible people that they are going to hell if they don't hand over serious amounts of money.

God told us to be fruitful and multiply. He never amended this with the lie that this was only a 'good times' direction. But we know whatever God tells us our sin nature and evil forces of the spiritual world are going to want us to do the opposite.

The answer to the problems of Mankind is children. Teach them to love and they will teach the next generation. Why is it always a great time to raise children? Because Genesis 1:28 tells us so, that's why. It's only the fear of man and his incessant pride that questions God's will.

This is exactly what I would expect a pastor to say. But I disagree with his him, but still believe couples should fervently pray BEFORE having children. The stats suggest that over half of children are unplanned, and I don't believe the stat is that inaccurate when applied to Christians. Wisdom, a gift from God, will tell u that this is a terrible time to have children. I think that having children should be the exception, not the rule in these last days. Maybe I feel this way because I don't have children and don't plan on children, and most of the churchgoers I grew up with have left the faith. Or, maybe it's because the world is sick, vile, disgusting, and godless. Either way, to suggest this is a good time, lacks wisdom and defesernment.

Most parents are terrible parents

It’s obviously not a bad time if you’re a parent who doesn’t care. If a parent goes along with society and vaccinated their 1 year old and goes along with all other mandates then it’s easy street no issues. If a parent is not willing to compromise and willing to lose their job and live in a tent on the street with their kids then might be a little more difficult. Definitely a difference and depending on your morals and convictions and how much of a lemming you are then it’s easier to say “oh ya it’s a great time to raise kids.” Little harder if you’re not willing to compromise and follow crowds off cliffs.

Is this the guy that denies the blood of Jesus?

It is always a great time, if your eye is single. What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly. Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. That's why there is all this predicament on earth (selfishness, greed, lust, wars, sicknesses, death, etc). We are all born into that mess. For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ. With His own once and for all perefect sacrifice, He paid the debt for the fall of man for us, so we can be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. An amazing act of grace and love by our creator. That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all and walked in unselfish love. And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!! So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit. You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator. You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace. A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam. Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever. Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote: "As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again". "IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)" "The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power". So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing! In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote: "By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man". The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!! Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness. He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind".
