Hang in there and don't give up! You will learn something new all the time....like when you re-read the different Books, you will notice something that you may have missed before! It's a beautiful way of getting closer to God!

John MacArthur did that for me in 2007 when I heard him introduce his new book, The Truth War. Years later RC joined him as a crucial teacher. May God continue this line of godly teachers.

John McArthur is a man of God, defends the inerrancy and Infallibility of Gods word(bible) yes he said you can get saved after the mark, but is that the unforgivable sin? Many will get the mark without knowing what they've done, if they repent and believe, and put their trust in Christs death and resurrection, will Christ reject them? Dont think so. For Christ Jesus said he who comes to me, I will in no way reject. Devils will always attack those proclaiming the truth of Gods word, even earscratcher pastors, who dont teach the bible expository way.

Edited to add scripture for you to look up: Gen 1:1-2 Isa 48:12-13 -> Rev 1:17 (not the Trinity but a proclamation of who Jesus is) Isa 48:16-17 Matt 3:16-17 Mark 1:10-11 Luke 3:21-22 John 1:29-34 I am sure there are more but those will give you more than ample evidence of the Trinity in the Bible. How can you be saved by your own merits if you broke one of God’s commandments? God desires perfection and you can never reach that. If you think you are saved by obeying the Ten commandments let’s see if you’re saved. If you have ever hated someone that means you are a murderer. If you have ever lusted at the opposite sex that means you are an adulterer. What fills your thoughts the most? What or who are you always thinking about? There is your God. God is holy separated from all evil and since we are bad people we do not meet his standards. We have hope. God came down in the flesh and Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and he went on that cross and took upon the wrath of God that we deserve. The only way to reconcile you to a holy and just God was for God himself to come down. Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Christian is not going to say Christ died for me I can sin all I want. That shows you are not truly converted. You will obey the Lord because your heart is drawn towards Christ, you love Him, and you’re thankful for what he has done. No Christian rebels against the Word of God and lives a continuous lifestyle of sin. We will still sin because we are still sinners, but our desires are not to sin. Our desires are for Christ it’s all about Him. It’s not about getting out of hell. Christ loved you and died for you. Apart from Him you can’t even breath.

You will hate the things that God hates and you will love the things that God loves. Some grow slower than others, but there will be growth in your walk of faith if you are truly saved. Please note that Jmac also contradicts Calvinism, inadvertantly, when he agrees with scripture that salvation is by faith. Putting regeneration in front of faith means you have been saved from death and given eternal life before believing! But he can't see the contradiction because he believes there is no alternative to Calvinism and Arminianism. Yes, John and RC (well, he knows now), there is. It's called scripture.
