No it doesn't. It's just a basic thing most musicians don't learn because they thinking shredding=good. You don't learn it with age, you're supposed to be doing this from the get go.
True...my guitar teacher has said that, however sometimes, just sometimes more is more. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kFHTgBpbX_I.html&ab_channel=SeanMann
I’m honored to be one of his fans ,and believe me when I tell you ,I don’t believe in fandoms and stuff like that ,it’s not my thing I’ve never been a fanboy of ANYONE but John is different, he’s extremely special ,he’s not only the reason I found my passion for music and the reason I started playing guitar too ,he’s also the reason I got through depression in a time when my life was a mess ,tracks like “heartbreak warfare” , “gravity” “slow dancing in a burning room” “speak for me” “whiskey, whiskey ,whiskey” just to name a few gave me comfort ,and tracks like “I guess I just feel like” and “moving on and getting over” “age of worry” gave me hope and got me through the roughest times of my life ,and I’m thankful first with God and my family but also with John bc somehow a “complete stranger” played a huge roll in my healing process and I’m very thankful for that 🙏🏻
John is the most accomplished musician, in my lifetime!! He not only sings beautifully, he has mad guitar skills that puts alot of others in awe of him. On top of that he is an unbelievable song writer!! In other words, he is simply amazing!!!!
It’s not John’s song. It’s JP Saxe song that Mayer is featured on. I believe Mayer is on several songs of JP Saxe album but not heard of him til this song so I’m not sure
Just pure talent, pure magic. Once I got over his "high school song," and really started to listen to his lyrics and song construction, I couldn't get enough listening/learning. One of my all-time favorite artists. Thanks for introducing me to the power of the major 9th chord.
It’s an incredible gift (to all) to watch someone be so…at one with an instrument, flowing into it and right out of it like water in a stream. So many of us are lucky to be able to do that only once or twice in our lives.
When The face starts to take shape ladies n gents is when you're in for a treat! Literally the def of the music playing through the artist with this guy
It’s the way he’s so happy to be playing and tries to share the feeling he’s having with his buddy. His face says “isn’t that so cool!?” And it’s the most wholesome thing ever
