you got 300 thumbs up on that so far ... my thoughts exactly ... he is ... like most "actors" ... doing as he is told i once intentionally played a gig in a town in france that had outlawed live music as a stunt for our manager we knew the police would be called etc and the power was pulled ... afterwards the owner of the bar , who was celebrating his birthday on the evening cracked open a case ... a CASE ... of his families champagne and shared it with us privately ... i pretty much got to drink an entire bottle of plonk worth more than my car ... in return we got into the headlines locally and the town council repealed the live music ban and the guy has gone back to making money from poor musos none of us meant any of it really

It's fairly, a lot of women like him which makes other women like him. It's a full-circle type of thing. He does not even have to be good at anything, just the fact that he sings and he relatively known makes women want to be with him. I've had a lot of females show interest in me when they found out that other females are interested in me, even when they did not even like me in the first place. When you see that people are wanted for whatever reason, you want them for yourself as well.

Just meant to say that to call Mayer a coattail rider is a huge mischaracterization given he is / will be known as one of the most influential songwriters of the early part of this century. That's not to say Swift doesn't fall into the same category, though Mayer spans multiple genres, including his work with the dead which were arguably one of the most influential groups of their era(s) 60's-90's; the two artists aren't even comparable for many reasons, which is why I wasn't speaking to swift. Was simply saying that Mayer wasn't riding Jennifer Anistons / Jessica Simpson's coattails - their works/art are in a different league.

Lol why so many jaded women in the comments? 😂😂😂 I think he’s got the blank face dry humour and it just rubs people the wrong way. I guess because it’s a common thing in my culture so it’s not a big deal, I get it though.
