I have waited long enough before doing this review. Now that we all know that Rolex has not discontinued this watch, I want to discuss a few things on my mind. This is the famed watch that everyone credits it's success to that famous John Mayer interview. Yes he said that it could be the next big thing. And yes he is a very predominant watch collector who has a very iconic watch collection. But... I also feel that this watch stands on its own. There is no coincidence that the green Submariner Hulk and pretty much everything green became popular in this same era. I feel that there is no substitution to the fact that it's just a really nice watch. How can we go wrong with anything yellow with such a striking green dial. I have said it before and I will say it again. Green IS the new blue. This watch is here to stay and exclusivity will keep prices way up in the sky.
