He’s one of the best Standup comedians out there right now because he just talks about regular things like 90% of the time, he’s just really good at observational comedy and his delivery style is very unique. Plus, I’m a sucker for very dry humor, he’s the real deal.

Yeah...so you clearly have no idea how comedy works. Long before any comedian you like got famous, they spent years sometimes decades in the open mic circuit testing material. It's part of the process. It is a concept called *practice* . It probably blows your mind that musicians do the same songs over and over when they go on tour too huh?

John Mulaney is absolutely hysterical... Probably one of THE best comedians out there. Just because he doesn't do dick and fart jokes doesn't make him "not funny". The "Salt and Pepper Diner" bit is pure comedy gold. Everyone should listen to that bit.

You can really see the huge changes in his delivery and timing from here and his special where he does the same routine (gf meeting the parents). His pauses between phrases and his general tone are so much more professional now-though he is good here, too. Someone gave him some good advice and turned him from ‘good’ into ‘great’. I love it…he’s awesome!
