I’m strictly a curious bystander observing you gentlemen do citizen science on a scale that matters. Your videos are not entertainment for me but most are confirmation that the same principles you are employing apply to a home-scale vegetable garden. I’ve been growing plants for food for 40+ years in very different places (contexts) and I’m getting closer to finding the most basic way to grow enough essential food for 4 people to live securely. Keeping living roots in the ground perpetually is essential. I think it was Dr. David Johnson who described a properly functioning microbial system as “high velocity” and that describes it perfectly. As you transition your land between crops and pasture and back again, I see direct parallels with my experience using extract inoculation and constantly harvesting and frequent replanting diverse vegetables. I’ve steered other home growers to your site so I hope someone else will comment that they too are making your content part of their self education in Regenerative Growth. Nice job, John!
+1, need to have the camera set up to focus on the overhead slides even if the presenter is partially cut out of the frame. I let the video run like a pod cast but a slight change for next year.
